Epcot Reception

Has anyone had their actual reception in Epcot? Like instead of an Illumniations dessert party, a reception dinner that ends with Illuminations?

What locations can you do this? If it rains, where would they put you?

My guess is depending on your party size for rain: Wonders Retreat, The Oddysey, Living Seas, or the World Showcase Center.

There are several indoor reception venues in Epcot - the ones mentioned above, plus American Adventure Parlor and Rotunda, Living Seas Salon, plus China. The outdoor venues are all the same ones that you can use for dessert parties - they just have different minimums if you use them for a reception.

Note that you will not be able to play music or have any amplified entertainment at an outdoor venue.

We are having our reception in the Italy courtyard. We asre beginning the night with a cocktail hour during Illuminations and then moving over to Italy.

There are many beautiful locations in Epcot.
