We went to Epcot last week (we go about every other week) and noticed the beer prices have been raised from $7.25 to $7.50 for the import beers!! I think they raise the price by $0.25 every year. It sure is getting harder to enjoy the many fine brews they have there now.

As much as I love Epcot I think we're going back to Universal next year where they have 1/2 price Happy Hour and 20% off food with the annual pass discount. I'm going broke going to Disney.

You obviously have not bought a beer recently at a San Francisco Giants game! ;)

So at an NFL game you probably pay that much for Bud or Miller. Boy now that would really be a hardship. At least at Epcot you get some excellent beer's :drinking1 for your $7.50. I don't feel so bad now . :D

SSSHHHHH!!!

Don't tell my wife.

My kids both look at my EPCOT Beer tour as "Daddy's Souvenirs".

Cheers,

Schuey

No offense to the beer drinkers out there, but I hope they raise the prices to where they don't sell it anymore. I've had altercations with sloppy epcot drunks the last two trips. One guy made comments to the wife and luckily security got to him before I did. This past Sept. a stumbling drunk knocked my 18 month old down and I had to deck him.

If you gonna drink please don't make a bumbling fool out of youself.

They are pretty pricey! We like to get the Germany mugs (the 22 oz mugs) and take them around. Sometimes, the F&W tent in Germany will refill it for you at the cost of their normal size (sorry I don't remeber what that was!).

Your last line says it all. I think it would take away from the ambience and authenticity of the WS if they stopped selling alcohol altogether. Dh and I enjoy getting a German beer or a glass of wine in France. We would never think of getting bumbling drunk for many reasons, and I think the majority of tourists at Epcot don't either but you always have some people who don't know when enough is enough. And unfortunately, if they have it in their minds to tie one on they could go get tanked at the ESPN Club and walk into Epcot. The MK is alcohol free but we had the "pleasure" of being seated next to a man who was LOADED while we were watching the parade.

I agree 100%.

I don't really drink that much at home so I actually look forward to having a few good beers while at Epcot. Epcot wouldn't be Epcot without a beer every once in a while. :drinking1
