I would like to attend this event this year. I have heard the music from outside the theater but have never had the pleasure to see the whole thing.
We are thinking of using the meal deal where you can get a seat in a reserved area.
But we were also thinking of waiting in line for the show. So for those of you who have waited in the standby line i have a few questions. How long have you waited to see the show, what time did it play at and what day was it??? Is there a better time or day where the standby line isnt as bad, is the line short for the earlier shows and gets worse later??
Any thoughts/comments anyone has on this would be greatly appreciated.

We go every year at least once and have been in the stand-by line sometimes early (front of line - 45 minutes early) and sometimes late (20 minutes before showtime) and we have always gotten in and seated. We have also done the dinner package. The seating for those is from marginally better to much better but the line is about the same. We usually go Christmas eve or Christmas day and both are equally available.

Bump up for more info.
