We just got home yesterday and I couldn't wait to share our PSB experience with all of you who want to go there.
We arrived at the parking lot very early but we could not get in to park until 8:00 am. We walked briskly back to Norway and there were already quite a few people there. I am not sure if they came from International Gateway or just where because we were the first car in that parking lot.
When it was our turn to check in I asked them if they had picked their "Princess of the Day". I was so thrilled when they said they had not and my dd could have the honor. It was her 6th birthday and it was the most magical day ever. She got a sequined pink cape and hat to put on and was handed a wand. All the kids used their magical wishes and my dd waived the wand and the doors opened. There was royal music and Aurora came out and streamers flew and it was so wonderful that I teared up. We were led to a table with a special big chair for Princess of the Day. There was also a certificate that already had dd's name on it. All of the princesses stopped and chatted with us and signed our book, t-shirt and certificate. Belle even had a certificate made just for me! "Queen of the Day" and they all signed it
Like I said it was just all so magical.
The food was really good. I expected it to be cold and not very good but ours was warm and delicious. The potatoes were my absolute favorite but the muffins were excellent as well. Then they brought out a Norwegian troll cookie for my daughter to paint with gel and chocolate for her birthday. The woman in charge came over and chatted with us-she was soooo nice! She even gave my dd a pin off her lanyard for free!
Everyone was so nice and it was so special and a birthday I know my dd will never forget! Just be sure to ask when you get to the podium even if seems like a lot of people are already there because you just never know.
