Hello!

I want to make sure the planning software is doing a good job around my FPs and dining reservations. It did not allow me to insert all of the character visits like Mulan in China. It also didn't use my Soarin FP which is for 2:10. Guess, I should swap that out for Test Track. Using EMH that day if this plan makes sense.

Tuesday

Soarin' 8:12am

Living with the Land 8:38am

Test Track Presented by Chevrolet 9:03am

Spaceship Earth 9:30am This is an existing FastPass+ reservation.
Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot 9:52am (Afraid the wait here will be long)
The Seas Main Tank and Exhibits 10:19am
The Seas with Nemo & Friends 11:05am This is an existing FastPass+ reservation. (Shoulld I FP the character spot instead?)
Lunch - Akershus Royal Banquet Hall 12:00pm

Reflections of China 1:33pm ( I know Mulan is in China at 2. DD12 wants other characters as well.)
The Jeweled Dragon Acrobats 2:45pm
Showtimes (click to select preferred time or clear preferred time): 3:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm, 6:15pm, 7:30pm
Serveur Amusant 3:36pm
Showtimes (click to select preferred time or clear preferred time): 12:15pm, 1:15pm, 2:15pm, 3:00pm, 3:45pm, 4:30pm

IMHO this plan is way to early for Epcot, the WS part of the park does not open until 11am so you would be limited to the FW area for the first three hours. Are you planning on staying the entire day from open to close? Do you plan to stay for Illuminations? IMHO a visit to Epcot is not complete without staying to see Illuminations, I would recommend pushing your plan later into the day by at least a few hours, also an ADR for dinner is a must at Epcot..

I don't understand why they have you doing The Seas tank before Nemo...Nemo is the way into The Seas. Change this FP to the Character Spot. Nemo won't need it, and the characters might.

If you're going to do Soarin' first, and you don't want a second ride, then FP for Test Trak is a good idea. By 9:00, the line will already be quite long.

Spaceship Earth is at the front of the park. Are you doing an afternoon break? If so, I'd do this either on your way out of the park or on the way back in for the evening. If you're not doing a break, I would do it after your Character Spot, but before The Seas.

I disagree with PP that this is too early. The after shows at Test Trak and Spaceship Earth are worth taking your time, and my little ones could spend an hour in The Seas Main Tank. Don't forget Turtle Talk w/Crush while you're in there too.

Thanks for the replies. We want to make Tuesday an early day back to the hotel since we'll be hitting Ak and HS both on Wednesday and plan to do Fantasmic. DD12 really wants to see Fantasmic. DH doesn't care for any of the light shows. We did see Illuminations 3 years ago. The time for Nemo is probably based on the FP that I already have. I can probably change that time. We probably wouldn't take a break other than lunch so we can leave the park earlier. Since we were at Epcot 3 years ago, don't feel like we need to do everything again. Characters are a must though. So, sounds like I should switch my Soarin' FP for Test Track and Nemo pass for the character spot. Dinner would be great if I knew we were still going to be in the park.

Went in to swap some FP times. The earliest FP for Test Track is 12:15. The earliest for the character spot is 3:20 if I swap out the seas for that one. I do have a Soarin pass for 2:10 that was not used by the software. So, maybe I go to Test Track first then the character spot and keep the Soarin FP. We'd have to go there after our 12:10 lunch. Not sure how long Mulan stays in China. I can easily change the Soarin time to later so we can do it on our way out! So new order could be:

Test Track 8:12am
Living with the Land - maybe?

Character Spot (hmmm.. Need to check if it's open before 9am) If not, keep Living with the Land before this.

Spaceship Earth 9:30am This is an existing FastPass+ reservation. (9:30-10:30)
The Seas with Nemo & Friends 11:05am This is an existing FastPass+ reservation. (Move this FP time up since can't swap for Character spot)
The Seas Main Tank and Exhibits

Lunch - Akershus Royal Banquet Hall 12:00pm

Reflections of China 1:33pm ( I know Mulan is in China at 2. DD12 wants other characters as well.)
The Jeweled Dragon Acrobats 2:45pm
Showtimes (click to select preferred time or clear preferred time): 3:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm, 6:15pm, 7:30pm
Serveur Amusant 3:36pm
Showtimes (click to select preferred

Soarin on the way out.

Is this better?

Is this touring order better than before?

I think it's better in that your original one had you going to Test Track after 9:00 without FPs, and you could easily have a 30-minute wait by that time. Much better to do it at EMH rope drop.

You're right that Character Spot doesn't open until 9:00. Are you sure that 3:20 is the earliest available FP time for the Character Spot? I just did some checking for August 25, and I found it available in the late morning (but I was only looking for one person, because I currently have only one ticket linked to MDE).

I would substitute Character Spot FP for Nemo FP if you can find a time before lunch. But if not, I think what you have planned now will work.

Thanks for your reply. I now see an earlier FP for Character Spot for 12:50 to 1:50. Our ADR for lunch in Norway is 12:10. I went ahead and grabbed it now but that could be tight after lunch. It does go well with our Soarin FP which begins at 2:10. We will need to head back to the World pavilions for other characters.

Here's what it looks like now. The number after the time is the projected wait time. We'll get to lunch a little early so hopefully we can get in a little before our 12:10 ADR.

1) Test Track Presented by Chevrolet 8:09am 26

2) Living with the Land 8:50am

3) Spaceship Earth

Uses your FastPass+ reservation. 9:30am 2

4) The Seas with Nemo & Friends 9:56am 4

5) The Seas Main Tank and Exhibits 10:06am

6) Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

12:10pm for 90 minutes
Conf #: 451741696722

7) Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot

Uses your FastPass+ reservation. 12:50 - 1:50 (making it here after lunch will be tight)

8) Soarin'

Uses your FastPass+ reservation. 2:10pm

Then back over to pavilions for more characters. DD12 wants Mulan!

Hello! I've totally redone this again. Want to remain in the World Showcase after our lunch. I actually have FPs that the plan software isn't using to come up with this. The wait times look low.
If Test Track line is very long, will use FP to go on it later. Don't want to start at Test Track since I'll probably need to convince DD12 to go on it. She did go on the Cars ride in Disneyland last summer but I know that is tame compared to Test Track!

1) Soarin' 8:12am 18

2) Living with the Land 8:38am 0

3) Test Track Presented by Chevrolet 9:03am 5 (Have a 2:55 FP but may make it later to go on again on our way out)

4) Spaceship Earth
Uses your FastPass+ reservation. 9:30am 2 16 0 4

5) Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot 9:52am 12 (Have 12:50 FP but that would rush us from our 12:10 ADR at Akershus)

6) The Seas with Nemo & Friends 10:41am 4

7) The Seas Main Tank and Exhibits 10:19am 5

Then head to World Pavilions for some characters before lunch.

8) Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
12:10pm for 90 minutes

Characters and acrobat shows etc...

There's no way TT is going to be a 5 min wait at 9:00 on an early EMH. I don't know where they got that, but this line will be at least 30 min if not much more. I wouldn't plan on being at Spaceship Earth before 10:00. Then with the Character Spot, I would allow at least 30-45 min, because there is no way to know how the line will be there. So that puts you at The Seas around 11:00. If you get there earlier, you'll have more time to enjoy the main tank. If not, you'll have to rush through in order to get back to Norway for your ADR. You need to be there no later than noon. I can't imagine you'll have time for characters before lunch.

My experience with 8:00 EMH last week at Epcot.

We were trying to be at the front of the rope drop crowd - but, darn Disney buses nixed that (30 minute wait for a bus to show up). Then they only had 3 bag-check lines open and the lines were long! From what I overheard, someone said they started letting people in at 7:52 am, we got past security at 8:00 - and much to my family's annoyance, we stopped for a quick photopass picture (before the August weather did a job on our appearances!!). We got to Test Track about 8:07, wait was posted as 20 minutes - it was probably about 15 in actuality. When we got out the wait was 60 minutes (it was probably about 8:35).

Living with the Land was walk-on when we got there.
We ate breakfast at Sunshine Season leisurely waiting for our 10:00 am fastpass at Soarin' - posted wait time when we walked through at 9:55 was 45 minutes.

Tried to get to Imagination with no fastpass, but that wait was 30 minutes, so we opted to visit Kool Station, and waste 20 minutes until our fastpass for the Character Spot - it was blazingly hot, that walking was at a premium and there was 'an economy of steps' rule in place for our group! Posted wait time ranged from 40 to 50 minutes the entire 30 minutes we were in the area. I believe it was even higher when we came out of the meet & greet.

We then went to World Showcase for a cool margarita and chips in La Cava, stopping for a photo with Duffy since it's rumored he will be disappearing, and then a beer in germany. Then out through the international gateway - we caught a boat to Hollywood Studios, and then a bus from there to POR - no way was anyone up for walking all the way back to the front of the park to catch the direct hotel buses.

Thanks for the additional replies. Sounds like I'm going to need to use my actual FPs. Think I'll make the Test Track FP even later for our way out. We're going to be driving to the parks with the exception of MK so I'll be sure to get there early for rope drop and get right to Soarin. May skip Living with the Land and go right to Test Track from there. If would be nice to go on that one twice by using the FP later. I was really hoping to do Character Spot before our ADR. We can catch Nemo and the Land on the way out if necessary...
