I am trying to decide if I should add the additional park to my photo session. We are already doing the MK, so adding the extra park would only be $300 more. Has anyone else done both? I was really thinking about Epcot, but I haven't seen very many pics from that. I would appreciate anyone sharing! Thanks :worship:

If you can afford it, go for it! We got to take pix in Epcot with our outside photographer before our wedding, and they locations look amazing in photos. There's so much variety, and so many great backdrops.

Em17375 are you and escape or wishes bride? the only reason I ask is I have booked a extra shoot at epcot (after seeing lurkys pictures :thumbsup2 ) and it is priced as $600 ontop of the MK photo session. I didnt know if it was differant depending on what wedding you booked, If not I will be on the phone to my planner!!

Interesting... the price should be the same for Wishes and Escape brides.

Are you having your Epcot shoot on a different day than your MK shoot? Because the price sheet I have says $1,000 for the MK or $1,300 for two parks (on the same day).

I am an escape bride. The price sheet I have says 1,000 for the MK and 1300 for parks. I hope they didn't change prices on me because I'm using the only 300 more part to convince my fiance! :scared:

I have the MK and Epcot Photo sessions booked and it was an additional $300 to add Epcot. I had to do it, what a bargin. LOL

We did both MK and Epcot and did the two 12 8x10 albums with that, it brought the total to $1700 in the end and we figured since we were already spending $1300 what was another $400 to get to choose the pictures and have the albums done for us.

Here is the link to our photo session if you want to check it out:

I must say that Disney photography has done right by us, there were a few shots (a dozen or so actually) where my bra was showing a little. I didn't really complain to them I just mentioned it and how disappointed I was and they have been TERRIFIC about fixing them.

Thanks so much for the help! I was really curious about how pics from the Disney folks turned out. Lurkyloo's pics are gorg, but I knew they weren't Disney so I was a little apprehensive. BUT seeing these makes me feel lots better. :cool1:

acurry417 - how did you get the photos at night?

I was definitely wanting the Magic Kingdom shoot, and had budgeted $1300 so if this now gets me Epcot too - yeay!!!

Although, if we're doing both sessions on the same day - how do you fit them in - are they both morning sessions?

It was actually 5:30AM. Our photographer picked us up at our resort at 5AM and drove us to the MK.

Yes we spent an hour at MK and then drove over to Epcot and spent the second hour there. I think we were back at our hotel by 8:45.

I have got my BEO infront of me and it says
"1 magic Kingdom Portrait session (Non) @ $1000 each
1 Epcot portrait session (non) @ $650 each
Estimated event total $1650

We are having them both done on the same day, is this price wrong then? If I contact my planner is there anywhere it is written that says it is just a further $300 to include the Epcot session so that I can direct her to it?

The extra $350 wouldnt be a larger size photo upgrade would it? I was not advised, just a thought?

I'm doing both and am SO excited for it!! I've seen some pics in epcot (I don't remember from where) but I was really impressed! I think that epcot offers really pretty back drops for photos, and really anywhere you take pics is going to look amazing! I say if you have it in your budget to add the extra $300, go for it! Its a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I don't think you're going to be disappointed at all!!

I also added the Epcot shoot for immediately following our MK shoot the morning of our wedding...

I also thought it was only about $300 more...I know there's 2 packages depending on what size photos/album you want...

hmmm...I don't have the Disney photo pages with me today though....

Anyone know why babystar would have a different quote on her BEO?

Seems strange, it could be a mistake....

Hey! We had an Epcot photoshoot too! You can check out our pictures here... https://www.collages.net/ConsumerSite/GuestLogin.aspx?eventcode=339651 :)

EM17375, I'm from Alabama too! What part are you from??

Who was your photographer....Your Pictures are amazing. Also how many Countries did you get to pick? We want Germany, Italy, Morrocco and France....But I also loved the Japan ones. Wonder of they will do all 5, just a smaller number of photos per country?

I think they only allow you to pick 1 or 2 countries for the shoot....depending on if they're close to each other etc..

I wanted Japan, China, Italy and Morocco so just went with Italy and Morocco when I found out I could only pick 1 or 2.....

Still wondering why babystar was quoted more $.....

Babystar-
Let us know, what happens if you call your WC, I'm thinking they did make a mistake! :thumbsup2

I know offically they only let you pick, I think it is three. But when I get there I was going to sweet talk them. LOL

I wonder why she was quoted higher...I just went back over my stuff and it says $1300 plus $25 for shipping.

Seriously, they can't throw in shipping free with a $1300 photoshoot! LOL

I would pay $2600 if I had to. I can't thik of getting married threw disney and not having Magic Kingdom Photos!

Talk to your planner - this has to be a mistake. The Disney Photography price list explicitly states that a two-park session is $1,300 - it's called the "Magic Kingdom Plus Another Disney Park Portrait Session." The only way this could be right is if they think you want all 8x10 prints or are charging you for a $1,000 session at MK plus a $575 standalone session at Epcot.

I talked to my planner today. It is just the 300 more and they let you pick two countries. I am hoping that they just snap some extra pics in countries along the way! I am doing the session right after my MK session which is at 6 the morning of my wedding. I am gunna be pooped by the end of the day!!
