Anyone have any suggestions on where to eat that might be peanut allergy safe? Or accomodating? When originally booking our trip, we were sticking to MK, but looks like we are going to be hitting some other parks and need some suggestions:)

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

All restaurants will be accomodating. When you check in they usually ask if anyone in the party has allergies. The server asks again. My DH and I do not; but we have seen the chef of different restaurants come out to find out exactly what the allergy is and how they can prepare something for that person.

If you do quick service, I would ask for a manger just to be safe.

We were just in Disney World last November with my peanut and dairy allergic son. I can't even begin to tell you how accommodating everyone and everywhere was for us. I felt safe eating with him in every park + resort area, as they went above and beyond to either make him something to eat, or get something safe from another restaurant.

I have a list that they emailed me with all of the quick service locations, and the different offerings they had for people with allergies. Let me go through my email and find it, and I'll post it :)

And here's the actual email I received -
Dear Caitlin,

Thank you for inquiring about how the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort handles special dietary requests. We now have special dietary information on our website at the following link.

The attached documents should help you with your planning. Please check the Walt Disney World Resorts Dietary Reference Sheet and it will give you more information regarding the products we carry. Any of our table service locations keep dietary products on hand like rice milk, rice dream frozen treat. They can make the pancakes without the dairy and soy. We use high oleic canola oil for frying. Our popcorn is popped in coconut oil and has a non dairy artificial butter flavor. Once you decide where you want to dine, call 407-WDW-Dine or you can book on line.

Please complete and return the "Guest Allergy - Dietary Request Form" by email to [specialdiets@disneyworld.com] or fax to 407-560-1355. Be sure to list the restaurant names and dates where you plan to dine. This way we can alert all the various restaurant Chefs and Managers of your upcoming visit and there would be no need for you to contact the individual restaurants directly.

Due to the large volume of meals we serve, vendors and suppliers occasionally swap out product. Therefore menu items and preparation is often updated. We stress that you ask to speak to a Chef or Manager when you arrive at each location. They will be happy to assist with your selection and provide product labels and ingredients for menu items.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom, our Animal Programs keepers roam the Park throughout the day and at any given time could have nuts in their pocket to use for demonstration and educational purposes while handling birds. Birds are located in just about every area of the Park. Be mindful that these keepers would have nut oil on their hands and remnants in their clothing.

Below is a list of quick service locations that will be able to accommodate your dietary requests.

MAGIC KINGDOM Park – Columbia Harbour House, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café and Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park – Restaurantosaurus
Epcot – Liberty Inn, Sunshine Seasons and Electric Umbrella
Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Backlot Express, ABC Commissary and Rosie’s All-American Café

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

Hope that helps a little :)
