Do they sell the passports in the gift shops at the resorts or at the gift shop right out of the EPCOT entrance?

TIA!

I thought I read somewhere that they don't do those anymore? Or am I thinking about the thing at AK?? :confused3:

We just got back from WDW. We bought the passports at "Mexico's" gift shop as you walk into the Mexico Pavillion. I think that all of the countries sell them. The girls even managed to have theirs completed. Mine will have to wait for another trip to be complete. I rationalized that it will look like a real passport with the different dates stamped in it.

Hope that helps.

A girlfriend of mine just got back and said she got hers at their resort. (OKW)

Let me tell you; those things are great. When I went on my trip, I bought one for each of my nephews. They were 6 and 7 at the time and they were going a few months after I had returned.

My DSIL commented how wonderful they were; the boys had previously said they had absolutely no interest in going to the countries at all. Not only did they get the entire thing filled; they learned how to say hello, goodbye, and thank you in every country......they talked for weeks about how great Epcot was!

We got ours in a shop as you are walking into World Showcase near Canada.

Can someone please tell me the cost of these as well as how it works getting them stamped at each country?

TIA!

It's my understanding that they will stamp anything with the passport stamps. I was trying to decide weather to have their autograph books stamped or buy the official passports.

Are the passports just blank books? Or do they have facts about the countries inside? I was also wondering about cost. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

:cool1:Almost time for Disney!

I believe they are $9.95? I think I paid $31.70 for 3 with the tax??? Just take them up to each Kidcot station in each country. Most of the time, the CMs asked my kids if they wanted them to stamp their passport before my kids could even ask. Each one comes with a button that has Mickey on it and says Epcot. It also has a border with the different countries flags.
The passport looks like an actual passport. I think they are really cool and so do my kids. Each one has a place for the date and time. There are also lines for the CM to write a little note. Like in the UK they wrote Welcome to the United Kingdom, home of Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger. There are also stickers of the places around Epcot"s UK (and all the countries) for the kids to put in their passports. Each country wrote in their native language and some even wrote the English version as well. In China and Japan, they wrote my kids name in the language. They thought that was really cool too. They also had things they wrote for boys and girls too. Like in my daughters in France they wrote home of Belle and my son's they wrote home of Ratoutille. Canada they wrote home of the world's largest shopping mall for my DD and for my son they wrote something about ice hockey and lacrosse. My kids truly loved doing this and want to do it again when we go.

If you want to make your own Passports, there are some cute designs for them over on the DISigns page. I'm not overly crafty, but some of them are as simple as "print onto cardstock, staple together, and put contact paper over the cover". :thumbsup2

I just got some passport pages from the Creative DISigns board. I can't remember the members name, but they are really cute. I just searched passport pages. I will try to find the member and post their name for you.
