Could someone give me some info on the passports in Epcot for Kids? I know that you can get them stamped at each country, but do you have to buy the passport first or is it something that is given away? Also, where do you get it? Do you have to start at a specific country? Thanks for the help. I think my 3 yo may enjoy this!

The passport is a lot of fun for children! My 7 year old ds enjoyed it when he was 5 and then on our most recent trip. You have to purchase the passport. I think that they are around $9 or $10. You can get them at any gift shop at Epcot. You child can get them stamped at each of the kidcot stations set up around WS. The CMs will stamp the passport and write a brief message to your child in their native language. It is really cute!

Thank you! Do you find it best to start at a certain spot or does it not really matter? I know my 3 yo DD is going to have a blast. She is already learning chinese and spanish. Plus, it will give her a little more to do in the countries since she is old enough this time!

Disney Mama - It takes us either a full day or 2 half days (evenings) to do WS. We start at one end & do half the countries (ending at USA). We like to do the kidcot stations (it is hard to pull the kids away) where they get a mask at the 1st country (Mexico is where we usually start). They will get a charm (a piece of cardboard with something that has to do with that particular country) that is tied (I think they use zip ties or those things that attach prices to clothes) onto the mask. The kids can decorate the mask, little by little, at each country. I aslo taught my daughter how to say hello in each country's native language. We like to do the pressed penny's (I think all countries except China have them) too. We like to do some of the attractions or shows (boat rides in Mexico & Norway, etc) & see if we can find characters in each country and sample some of the foods! Here are some highlights we like to hit:
Mexico - El Rio del Tiempo, mariachis
Norway - Viking ship playground, Maelstrom
China - acrobats, personalized fans (buy a fan in the gift shop & a CM will personailze it with your name in Chinese - nice & cheap keepsake), Mulan
Germany - Cuckoo clock, Snow White characters
Italy - Jugglers, Pinocchio characters
USA - Voices of Liberty
Japan - Miyuki (candy artist), drummers, kaki gori (like a snow cone)
Morocco - Mo' Rockin, Aladdin characters, belly dancers at Marrakesh
France - Beauty & The Beast characters, Sleeping Beauty characters
UK - hedge maze, Bristish Invasion, fish & chips
Canada - Off Kilter, beaver tails (like a sweet breaded thing)
You can see how it would take a while! I thought my dd's would be bored in EPCOT & I swear it turned out to be our favorite park!!
