Hi- I am considering a breakfast at Ohana in early February. My DH loves Stitch and so does one of our sons. Would a 7:30 reservation allow us to rope drop at Epcot? There isn't a 7:30 on our MK day but there is one at 7:45, which I fear is definitely too late for rope drop.

If we did breakfast at Ohana, I am thinking we would likely have to take a cab for Coronado Springs to the reservation.

The buses start running about 6:30AM every day.

When you board the bus from CSR to MK, tell the driver that you are headed to the Poly for breakfast.
The driver may likely tell you that (s)he will take you directly to the Poly before or after the MK stop.

Figure to arrive at Ohana 15 minutes before an ADR.
You might be seated earlier.

The Rope Drop Ceremony (MK Welcome) begins a about 7:50 on a day when MK opens at
9AM (with no AM EMH.)
Getting there and in good position would be tight (or impossible) if you spend an hour with Stitch, et al.

Epcot may very well open by 8:45AM, or earlier (when posted for 9AM.)

Getting there for that would be a stretch from even a 7:30 ADR.
There is no Rope Drop Ceremony at Epcot, btw... nothing to see.
But, getting to Epcot would be tight (or impossible) if you spend an hour with Stitch, et al.

If getting to the parks before opening time is the goal,
booking a character breakfast after, say 7:00am, is not a good plan.

We've did a 7:00am ADR a few years ago at 'Ohana and easily made the 9:00am rope drop at MK; however, I think that 7:30 might be tight for time. A Character meal takes at least one hour (if you want interaction with characters and it sounds like this is a definite for your son; also, Stitch is SO much fun here:lmao:). I assume that the monorail will be running by 8:30am? (I only ask because I've never stayed at monorail resort and have heard that in recent years they have started running later, but I could be wrong) Also, at EPCOT a 9:00am rope drop might actually mean 8:40am (last August when we were there they were letting people in 15-20 min early at EPCOT).
If you do decide to do breakfast and then rope drop, I suggest that you ask server for your bill as soon as you sit down to eat. That way you can pay early and leave as soon as you are finished eating and saving yourself some valuable time.
I think it would be easier to get to MK for 9:00am rope drop (because I don't think they tend to let people in as early at EPCOT).
Good luck and enjoy 'Ohana :)

Thanks. The earliest Ohana reservation is 7:30 am so I think we'll skip the breakfast so we can make rope drop. Getting to the rides early is a bigger priority. We'll find Stitch in MK, hopefully.

DS can meet stitch in tomorrowland. Check kenny the Pirates site for times. HTH.
