EPCOT on VH1 I love the 80's

Just wanted to see if anyone else saw the TV show on VH1 called I love the 80's 3D? When they showcased the year 1982 there was a segment on EPCOT. It was only about 2 minutes long but pretty funny.
It' played Tuesday and Wednesday. It will probably repeat soon.

I saw it last night too. I have to say, I really enjoy Epcot...but I do remember when I was younger that my parents loved it but I was bored out of my skull!! Now that I am a LITTLE bit older, I can really appreciate all of the work the imagineers have done and learn about other cultures (through Disney's eyes at least)!!

By the way...I absolutely love the I Love the 80's shows. The one guy (he is on Queer as Folk) is so funny!!! He is the only one on that show that really makes me giggle!!

I started to watch 80 and 81 on Monday night but then stopped. I figured they were just going to rerun the whole 10 hours on Saturday and/or Sunday and I would watch it then. Now I have to make surethat I catch 1982. Thanks so much for the info.

My DH and 13 yo DS were watching this with DD (14 months) and I heard my DH say, "You're gonna see that in Jan honey!" i couldn't believe it because he really just tolerates all of my Disney planning and we've been like 7 times with our boys, but maybe taking his "Little Girl" is different!!

i thought EPCOT was a big yawn when I was young too...except for Figment. We still have a beach towel that we bought on that trip. Of course i was 13 I think then.

Wow, thanks for the info! Did they show the Grand Opening festivities? Last summer, DS was fortunate enough to work for the director who conducted all the on-stage musicians for the opening, and he'd love to see this.
