EPCOT... oh my!

No wonder my feet are always so tired after walking around EPCOT and World Showcase!

Isn't this an incredible shot? I would love to see them extend the monorail to include World Showcase, wouldn't you?

The Epcot parking lot is the 2nd largestest parking lot in the world, second only to the Mall of American. Epcot has public parking for over 11,200 cars!

Maybe I need another Smorbukk to clear my mind, but I recall that they used to say third largest in the world, behind Mall of American and Houston Astrodome. Did they make the Astrodome lot smaller - I too heard the tram attendants now say that the Epcot lot is 2nd largest (and I don't recall it growing over the years)

Yep.. this is where I easily burn up calories!! Yep.. I guess that explains why we always have a good early sleep. As soon as we get to our room, we just flopped down and sometimes we just end up falling asleep!

I may be wrong, but I think they tore down the Astrodome. I'm too lazy to google it. But I think they did.

Ok, so I googled it. The Astrodome still stands. But there are no pro sport events taking place there these days so perhaps they did reduce the size of the parking lot down. Who knows? It's late.

They used part of the parking lot to build the new Reliant stadium that the Texans now play in.

WOW...it's amazing to see just how big Epcot really is!! It's amazing when you are there running from one ride/show to the next, it doesn't seem like you are doing THAT much walking.

Now during the F&WF, the World Showcase sometimes seems like a rather long walk to me!
