Epcot Mother's Day Brunch Cancelled?

I was surprised to read about the Mother's Day Brunch at Epcot being cancelled. Even if reservations were down, still seems a bit early to cancel it altogether. Of course, it is really pricey...$47 for brunch? I don't know much about it though, did they serve filet and lobster? Anyone know if this was a popular event? Maybe it never did very well.
