EPCOT model covered up on TTA?

We rode TTA on Thursday, 8/4, and the EPCOT model was visible and the audio that goes along with it was present. We rode it again on 8/5 and the EPCOT model was covered up and there was no audio in that entire section of track.

Any idea why they covered the model up and turned off the audio? Is this something they do from time to time to clean the model?
