Epcot/MK Parking/Monorail Help?

Question for my upcoming trip. We are staying off site and on Saturday I am planning to start the day at Epcot (so I would park there), visiting Boardwalk, boating to Hollywood Studio, then back to Epcot for Illuminations. Once Epcot closes, MK is open for a few more hours so I am wanting to go there if we aren't exhausted yet haha...

So once Epcot is closed, would it be better to:

A. Drive from Epcot to the transportation station and monorail to MK
or
B. Take the monorail from Epcot to MK. If I do this, can I still get back to Epcot via the monorail to get to my car which would be parked there?

I would probably just park at TTC in the first place. Monorail over to Epcot. Visit Epcot, boardwalk, etc. Then monorail to MK, and at end of the night just get back to TTC. Only downfall will be having to go thru security 2x in the morning (once at TTC and once at Epcot), but it'll probably save more time and aggravation than trying to get back to Epcot parking at the end of the night.

The monorail will stop running before MK closes. So you won't be able to use the monorail to go back to Epcot at the end of the night.

I would agree with the previous poster and suggest that you park at the TTC and monorail over to Epcot. That will put your car where you need it at the end of your long day.

I like @Lesley Wake’s suggestion - park at the TTC in the first place.

Monorail hours change but the Epcot line isn’t likely to be running that late when you’re ready to leave the MK and head back. Here’s a link to this week’s Times Guide, just as an example of monorail hours: http://www.orlandoparksnews.com/p/weekly-walt-disney-world-times-guides.html

As you can see, on the one night this week with MK hours until 12AM, the Epcot line stops running at 11PM.

The monorail won't be running back to EPCOT if you stay late at MK.
