Has anyone taken young (6,7yr old) kids on Mission Space? I've read some very ominous reviews that are starting to scare me - and I love any kind of ride, never get sick!

BTW - They do meet the height requirements.

My DH and DS took my 5 yr old cousin on it last fall. She LOVED it!! We're all going again this April and she can't wait to do it again!! I think it really depends on the individual child's fear levels. Some may be frightened by it, they may not like the sounds. Some might be convinced they're really leaving the building.

My fiance's daughter went on it on a trip with her mom and step-dad when she was 7. She loved it, but said that she didn't think it was a good ride for adults because both her mom and step-dad had headaches afterward. :teeth: Her dad and I went on it on our last trip and have to respectfully disagree with her assessment.

I think it depends on the type of things your kids are scared of. My future step-daughter may love Mission Space, but she was terrified when she went on a small wooden rollercoaster here in Michigan because she's scared of heights.

My daughter rode in last summer at 6 1/2 years old and again in November at the ripe old age of 7. She loves it - she hasn't ridden a ride at WDW yet that has bothered her.
