Epcot May 5th ???

I know that the park closes at 3pm for the 50th celebration opening - but there are still Illuminations scheduled for 9pm according to the DIS hours charts here - am probably being really thick here but how does that work - is that only for press and invited guests - or do they reopen just prior to the show - or is there infact no fireworks on May 5th and the charts just state 9pm cause thats when it normally is?

I am not even a new member and I am confused. We are going to be there on May 5. Unless someone here knows what's up, I guess we will just have to wait and see. We love going in May and all the flowers. The concerts are great, too! Hope you trip is great and I know ours will be.

Disneyworld.com shows no Illuminations for 5/5 with a 3:00pm close for Epcot. I would go by the official website.
