Hi, I'm new here, this is my first post. I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on lunch at Epcot - I was thinking either San Angel or the Coral Reef - we'll have two kids with us and I didn't see any children's menu. Thanks!!!!

Hello and welcome!!!! We've been to San Angel, but not Coral Reef.

Here's the Coral Reef kids' menu: http://allears.net/menu/menu_crk.htm

We do like the atmosphere at San Angel - fun to be right next to the ride and see the boats go by (if your table is close enough to see that) but it wasn't our favorite. We really like Chef's de France and our 3 boys loved meeting Remy there. Food was excellent, atmosphere and service was great.

Hope that helps!!

Hi! We were at SAI in February for lunch and we hated it. Can't really find anything nice to say about the food. The atmosphere is amusing, though.

Coral Reef is a must do for us every trip. My DD's first trip was when she was 9, she's going to be 13 next month and in the fall assured me that it's still a must do! We took my five year old nephew last year and he loved it! I've never been to San Angel so I can't rec that one but definitely give Coral Reef a go!

First off-:welcome:

Personally we don't care for SAI and haven't made it to CR yet. My DD (now 10) has enjoyed Tokyo Dining, Teppan Edo, and Tutto Italia. Biergarten may be another good choice.

All the restaurants have a kid's menu.

Teppan Edo is cool since it's your basic Hibachi Japanese restaurant and the chef cooks right in front of you.

The Coral Reef has a cool aquarium, but that's it. The menu is just ok. The food is just ok. And the service is just ok.
The food at SAI is pretty good, but Mexican food should never cost that much, in my opinion.

Completely agree and I have eaten at both. I would go to Teppan Edo or Tutto Italia.

Thanks! I ADR'ed the Coral Reef! I'm sure it'll be great. My 6 year old DN saw the picture and said "oh it looks lovely" so you can't beat that!

We did DxDDP lunch at Le Cellier and lunch at Coral Reef. We loved Le Cellier but Coral Reef was just ok. The food was alright and the service was fine. I was a bit disappointed that DD5 couldn't see the aquarium during the meal. We were on the 2nd level and she wasn't tall enough to see over the seperations. She didn't seem to care but that was the main reason we went there. We'll try different restaurant on our next trip.

We just got back and did the Akershus breakfast which was fantastic for princess interaction but just okay on food. Le Cellier for lunch was our favorite meal on the trip. Coral Reef for lunch was our worst meal of the trip...it was okay, but will try something else next trip...maybe Chefs de France?
