I am taking my mom so Disney in October, and she does not eat red meat or pork. I currently scheduled Le Cellier for lunch on one of our Epcot days, but I think I may cancel that and put soemthing else in its place. I personally LOVE Le Cellier, and I know they have chicken, but I was thinking of eating somewhere a little less "meat intensive" :lmao: if you know what I mean. My mom is pretty laid back, and tells me to make all the decisions...which is sometimes good and sometimes bad. So, I thought maybe we would try somewhere new for both of us, so here are the choices I have come up with...please keep in mind we will be having lunch here.

Teppanyaki (I went about 4 years ago and liked it, although I know they are doing a rehab now)
Coral Reef (also been here about 10 years ago)
Marrakesh (never been here, but it sounds interesting and different- we love spices, so I thought this may be a possibility)

Any input would be great!!

We went to Sunshine Season's, I know its not a sit down meal place, but its sooo nice!!! Many different things to eat!;)

We love Marrakesh. The lemon chicken is really good, as well as the chicken couscous. I think they have a veggie couscous as well, if she wants to go meat free.

I loved Coral Reef at dinner, I would assume you could ge the same wonderful vegetarian entrees at lunch if you wanted to!

Thanks for everyone's suggestions fo far. I guess I should have added that my mom DOES eat chicken and seafood, and she (and I) love various spices and dips and such- we are not aprticular other than her no red meat thing :sad2:

I've always enjoyed Coral Reef for lunch. It seems much less "frantic" than at dinner.

Marrakesh has always been a favorite of ours. This food isn't spicy - but its a little different - if you've been to Boma its a similar spicing - almost more sweet than anything - i.e. raisins in savory dishes, powered sugar over little meat tarts, lots of cinnamon and cardamom.

We also really enjoy Teppanyaki.

Lecellier had incredible seafood when I was there in April. I had a wonderful shrimp and scallop dish.

Great suggestions everyone! I think have narrowed it down to Coral Reef or Le Chefs...I had neevr thought about this one before! I will head over to the food porn thread to try and find some Le Chefs pics. Man, just when you think you have ervything set in stone .......... :lmao:

Our favorites for lunch are Le Chefs & Rose & Crown. There was a tomato & goat cheese tarte at Le Chefs that I had that I still dream about.

My favorite location for lunch is Chefs de France. They have great onion soup and creme brulee, and very nice salads, quiches, and sandwiches.

Ours, too. The food is very good, there are many options with no beef or pork in them, and it is such a pretty spot for lunch.

I also agree with Simba's Mom that Coral Reef is quieter at lunch.
