Hi, can anyone help me with this please?

We are staying at the Boardwalk for a couple of nights and on the last night we have a Wishes cruise booked. I've organised a cake for the birthday celebration and we will be bringing some away with us.

Problem is we check out of the Boardwalk the following morning and will be going to Epcot. I read somewhere that the lockers are in an air-conditioned room so a) anyone know if they are air-conditioned and b) will I be able to take the cake in with me to store?

If not, does anyone have any ideas? The only other option I can think of is to go back to our hotel on I-Drive to put the cake in the fridge and then come back to Epcot.

Thanks.

The locker areas are not "fully air-conditioned" at any of the parks,
as there are no doors on the locker rooms.

But the lockers will be completely out of the sun and not too hot, so you should be OK.

There are lockers at the International Gateway, and another larger group right under Spaceship Earth up front, too.

The lockers at all 4 theme-parks are the same price:
$7.00 a day ($5, really, as you will get a $2 "refund" when you return the key as you leave for the day).
If you park-hop in the same day, you can get another locker at the 2nd (or 3rd or 4th) park you visit without paying again (except for another $2 REFUNDABLE key deposit) if you keep your dated locker receipt and/or a little green "tag" that the locker person will give you.

Brilliant, thank you for the information. We will be going in through the International Gateway so that works out really well :thumbsup2

Your other possibility is to check your luggage with Bell Services at the BW when you check out. It is my understanding that all the Bell Services storage areas have refrigerators in them for storing items which require refrigeration. Then you could just leave you car parked at BW and when you return from Epcot get your car and luggage (and the cake) at that time.
