Heading to Florida for a long weekend and we will have about 5 hours to kill on our last day and we have 1 day left on our passes. Never made it to Epcot last time. Do you think we would have enough time to see the majority of Future World if we were there at park opening. I will be with my DH, DD (9) and DS (6) so I dont think the world showcase would interest them.

TIA

Yes 5 hours should complete future world....hit Test track first thing and then Mission space...if you finish future world I would also try to throw in Mexicon and Norway in world showcase thats the only 2 rides in that section...plan on a hour at universe of energy the entire preshow and ride takes 45 minutes...I would skip living seas...its just not worth wasting time over unless you have time to kill or small kids....its walk thru so it can eat up some time too...have fun

I disagree. The new talk with Crush at the Living Seas is a must for children. Even grownups will enjoy it.

I agree with the talk with crush is very nice and I agree that if given a day to spend time in Living seas but with only 5 hours I dont think its a must see....but with there 2 children they may want to....I would maybe save it for the last item before leaving the park then you know how much time you can budget in there....IF given time see crush and if your kids are fans of Nemo by all means see crush.....

Winnyis,

I don't believe you mentioned a particular time of year. I would say, line size aside, you should be able to do a decent amount of future world. However, IMHO, time of year/line size will certainly make a difference in one direction or another.

All - thanks for your input. Our plan is to go to Epcot on Wed March 9th. Its not an extra magic hour day for Epcot which is good.

My kids are huge nemo fans so Living Seas, Test Track, Mission Space and Spaceship Earth would be our must do's.

If you do have free time I would stop in World Showcase my two girls love it. I think the Land will for the most part be closed.

They like the Mexican boatride and Norway boatride.
All the Countries have kidscot table, in which you make a craft mask. Visit a couple of countries they could be fun. In Morocco lots of times you get to see Aladdin or Jasmine by the kidscot table. I've seen Belle and the Beast in FRance. And many of the Countries have pretty interesting activities. France had some fascinating balancing act with chairs, last time I was there. China has some acrobatic shows in front. I think it's Japan that had a lady that makes shapes out of candy.

If you only have 5 hours, I'd skip Ellen's Energy Adventure. It's a cute show, but at 45 minutes it just eats up too much of your time.

Hi Ginny :wave2:

Your thread caught my eye because I just booked a trip to WDW for John and I (for July, our anniversary) and we'll only be there for a few days.

I definitely think you'll be able to see several attractions in that time frame. Prioritize them, start at the beginning, and I bet you'll make it all the way through your list :)

Just wanted to mention, not sure if your kids like the 3D shows, but "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" is pretty cool, and is fun for all ages. :)

Have a great time!! :sunny:
