Is Body Wars or Cranium Command open? All I find is they are "open seasonally" but I can't find which season.

It was not open 3 weeks ago and it did not look like it would be open any time soon.....

It wasn't open in May when we were there. I think I read that they are gone permanently.

There was a lot of discussion on several threads a few months ago about whether "Wonders of Life" and its attractions, "Cranium Command", "Making of Me" and "Body Wars" were gone forever or just "resting" until needed ("Closed Seasonally").

Back then, the official WDW website had the most CONFUSING listing that said:
* Cranium Command: Open Seasonally [April 1- April 31, 2006]
* The Making of Me: Open Seasonally [April 1- April 31, 2006]

That led many (most) readers to believe that it meant that these attractions would be OPEN from (in this case) [April 1- April 31, 2006].

The contrary was true.
It actually meant that these attractions would "remain CLOSED" (in this case) [April 1- April 31, 2006].

But it was confusing BIG-TIME (and caused a lot of discussion between the posters as to its meaning).

WELL...
The Disney folks have "fixed" this confusing listing.

I copied the following (month-by-month) from the WDW Calendar Epcot site:

So, it looks like these attractions will NEVER re-open considering that they are not open at all during the Summer... not even around or on July 4th, one of THE busiest times at WDW... or over the BUSY Christmas holidays either.

Sad to say that, as I really loved these attractions, but at least the listings are no longer ambiguous.
I just wonder WHY they bother to specifically list them AT ALL??

Specifically to Body Wars, the rumor is that it is no longer even "in the building" as the ride system was supposedly shipped to another non-US Disney park for use as a "Star Tours" attraction at that park.

i read somewhere it was even removed from the park maps

That's true. Has been for most of 2006.

We were there the week before Christmas last year. Ds got sick so he and I missed the Epcot day, but I swear dh says he and the girls did CC and BW??? I was glad dd8 got to do them because it was her first and probably last time. Dh says lots of kids and young adults were just laying around sleeping/resting on the benches in the WOL pavillion! I will ask him again when he gets home, I am pretty sure it was open at least that day. What a bummer if it is all gone, they should update, re-open, get a new sponsor, ect...

It was closed when I was there in October 2004 and I haven't heard of it reopening since. As always, I could be wrong, I just haven't heard...

Yes, that's what's been posted here before.
But that was the last time anyone has seen these attractions, AFAIK.

Right after that time, the WoL Pavillion disappeared from Epcot maps.

What makes this even MORE pointed, is that even when Test Track was down for Rehab in Jan.-Feb. of this year (right after WoL HAD BEEN open at Christmas) WoL was NOT opened even to "fill in" for the absence of Test Track.

Thanks! I am so glad my littlest got to do those things since they seem to be gone :furious: .
