Epcot International Gateway to The Boardwalk

Can anyone tell me how long it would take to walk say from Canada in WS to the International Gateway Boat area?
I am looking at the Passporter map, but its hard to figure out the times with their guide

Also, what we want to do,we think, is to go from Future World over to the Boardwalk for lunch at Big River Grille.

It would probably take 10 min to walk from Canada to the IG. The boats run every 20 min. You could walk from the IG to Big River, probably 10 or 15 min.

it's faster to walk to the boardwalk than take the boat. it's a ten minute walk.

Depends how fast you walk!!

My rule of thumb is if the boat is actually at the International Gateway and loading, and you are headed Big River Grille end of Boardwalk, take the boat. If there isn't a boat at the dock, or it has just arrived and still unlading, or you want the ESPN end of Boardwalk, walk.
