We were there last August and Future World closed at 7. Some things stayed open. I think Spaceship Earth, Test Track and Mission Space, and maybe Honey I Shrunk the Audience.
The hours at Epcot are pretty uniform year round. FW is open at 9am, closing at 7(although a couple of the biggie attractions remain open later). FW doesn't usually open until 11am, and closes when it's time for Illuminations at 9pm. Years ago, WS also was open at 9. I believe they start opening it later because traffic from the main entrance was slow to get to the WS area, and because many guests consider WS a dining area.
Although Future World "officially" closes at 7pm the big attractions keep going until 9pm. It's kind of "if you know about it" because they do not publish this information.
