It has been years since I was last at Epcot. World Showcase used to open later than Future World each day. Is that still the case?

Yes. Future World opens at 9am, WS opens at 11am (with the exception of Norway and FEA, which also opens at 9am).

Plus the Bakery and adjacent Merch Shop in France,World Traveler and the Joffrey's kiosks.
