EPCOT has NO Availability

It would be nice if they made a note on their website WHY these restaurants aren't taking bookings. I had to call to find out what was happening and I really think this information should be made avaliable.

Agree 100%, there is no reason we should have to call and get a shady answer....Put it on the web so people know something!

I had no idea they hold tables until CP can be booked. And that stinks! We are visiting WDW Dec 10-17 and are planning two days at Epcot and we do not want to attend CP.

I am grateful I saw this thread though b/c I would probably be freaking out wondering why I got up so early on June 11 to not be able to get tables at Epcot.

I am hoping for a Teppan Edo and not sure of the other so my fingers are crossed.

Can someone confirm which restaurants are affected? Obviously Coral Reef and LE Cellier. But I thought I saw someone made an ADR for Biergarten. Isn't that normally a CP dining package restaurant?

We're shooting for LE Cellier, Biergarten and R&C. My window opens Wednesday.

I was able to get Teppan Edo, so it is bookable. I also got both restaurants in France. I did not try for, but read here on the Dis that Rose and Crown was also not bookable yet. The 2 I can personally confirm as of 6/3 @ 4 am west coast time are Le Cellier and Coral Reef. I don't know about other Epcot restaurants as I was only trying for those listed - but I agree w/ Tltorrez, that if anyone has booked an Epcot restaurant or been unable due to the tables not being loaded into the system yet it would help those getting ready to hit their 180 days so they have backup plans ready when they try to book.

I'll confirm as of 10am on 6/4 (today) that you cannot book LeCellier yet, the CM on the phone said it was because of CP and I should keep trying online everyday. Our trip is the first week in Dec. so our 180 window just opened today.

It's only 4 restaurants and it's lunch and dinner ADR's- Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Rose & Rose and Garden Grill.

I had the same issues today and the last time I called, I got similar answers.

I hope that I don't have to wait until July 26th when they opened up last year in 2011.

I didn't realize there was a problem booking LeCellier in December - of course I had to come to the boards to find out the reason. The CM just said some restaurants haven't opened for booking yet - don't know when they will open. No explanation whatsoever.... Combined with DVC reservation not linking for booking online....

I was just told that there are no Epcot Lunch times available for Dec.7th at any restaurant and that it is because they are all already completely booked ! Thank goodness for these boards so I know enough to keep checking. She tried to tell me that disney dining never holds back availability .Why can't they just be honest about what they are doing.

I've come to the conclusion that many CMs don't know what they're talking about on the phones. You can ring 5 times and get 5 different answers. I genuinely think the CM you spoke to wasn't aware of the candlelight processional.

The first time I called I was told Le Cellier was all booked up already. The second time I called (because I wasn't buying what the first CM told me), a really thorough CM took me through it and even went to look for the dates the candlelight processional packages were released last year to give me an indication for when I could start booking Le Cellier. He was fantastic. It depends who you get and how much knowledge they posses about Disney processes.

I have begun making dining reservations this morning for my December trip and EPCOT has ZERO availability. I realize they have to block off restaurants for CP, but I have never seen them block off everything. This is insane.

The only thing I was able to find was Via Napoli and that is the last one we should visit since I have a gluten intolerance and dont like pasta. LOL

I just wanted to let you guys know that on June 20, 2012 at 12pm, I was able to make "regular" Epcot Dining Reservations at Le Cellier Restaurant and Coral Reef Restaurant and The Garden Grill Restaurant and Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Restaurant.


Just in case you wanted to make any regular reservations at these restaurants.

I see that CPs are only held for a short time during the year. When else is Epcot super hard to book?
We are coming early January.
