EPCOT free pass!!

Interesting thing that happened to us last Thursday (June 10th) in EPCOT.
We had the whole day planned for EPCOT. Arrived around 9 at the International Gateway and proceed to the Future World. We got fastpasses for Mission Space and stood in line for test track. In about an hour we did both of those. Did the Ice Cream Social at around 3 and then the rain came. We thought we would do MS again but it was shut down. We went into Mousegears and talked witht the manager there. She made some phone calls and told us that lightning struck a transformer and all rides inclucing inside rides were down and it may be awhile before they are up and running again. She sent us to guest services. Once we get there the nice lady issued all 21 of us a "one day one park complimentary pass". She said in her 10 years at EPCOT this has happened only twice.
Disney was once again there to make sure we were having a magical time.

We have friends who were at Epcot on one-day passes and Tapestry of Dreams was cancelled b/c of wind or rain. They asked Guest Services if there was any way they could come see it on their MGM day since they really wanted to see the parade. Guest Services gave them one-day tix and told them to enjoy another whole day at Epcot.
