Hi, I read this on Disney Park's Mom Panel, but the post is from January 2017. I just want to verify this is still current info.

"It is now in place that you can book, 1, 2, or 3 FastPass+ selections per day. When on My Disney Experience, you will book one FastPass+ at a time, and after the first (and second) it will ask if you want another FastPass+ selection, or if you are done for that day. Since you just want the one selection, you can select "done" for that day.

After using (or the time expires) on all your pre-selected FastPass+ selections, regardless of how many you book, you are able to book one additional FastPass+ at a time, but remember that it is based on availability. "using (or the time expires) on all your pre-selected FastPass+ selections, regardless of how many you book, you are able to book one additional FastPass+ at a time, but remember that it is based on availability, so you may be very limited with your Tier One selection for Epoct, if you have any choices at all. As long as you are aware of the risks and are fine with that, the system will surely let you book just that one selection."

Is this still accurate? I tried searching but couldn't find another thread about this. If this is still how it works I will only be selecting two FP+ for Epcot. TIA!

Don't understand why you use want to book two FPs when you are allowed to do three. After your third one is used you are eligible to try for a fourth and so on.

Are you looking to snag more than 1 FP for the same ride? If so, then I suppose what you are suggesting would make sense.

Because the tier 2 fastpasses are not very good and rarely have a line early in the morning anyway. I'd rather just attempt to book another tier 1 FP+ for later in the evening ASAP. We are staying at yacht club, so plan on going on a few rides then going back to the hotel to swim. When we return to Epcot later that evening I plan on using the 2nd tier one FP.

Also, Epcot is huge and I don't want to run all over the park just to get rid of my tier 2 FP+ I don't really want in the first place.

You have to use 3 FP's before adding additional Tier 1 FP's.
Sorry I should have copied the rest of that post .."After using (or the time expires) on all your pre-selected FastPass+ selections, regardless of how many you book, you are able to book one additional FastPass+ at a time, but remember that it is based on availability, so you may be very limited with your Tier One selection for Epoct, if you have any choices at all. From the FP FAQ, Post #8.
A second Group 1 attraction in the same park can be scheduled only as a 4th FP or beyond. In other words, scheduling less than 3 FPs for a day in a tiered park is not a shortcut to getting a second Group 1 FP in the same park faster.

True since the inception of FP+. The DMP is not a great source for some of the intricacies of FP+.

Thanks everyone. I thought it seemed to good to be true. That's why I brought the question to the disboards. This is not the first time I've got inaccurate info from there.

Question...if I only book one FP in the first park I go to for the day, if I go to a second pack can I book FPs at the second park? Or do I have to book three at the first park in order to be able to pick up new ones for a second park? Thanks!

Yes, after you’ve used any prebooked from the first. See the FP FAQ Addendum, Post #4.

The wording of that is repetative and I don't even know what its trying to say lol.

OP you must use all 3 of your FP+ before getting a second tier 1 if you want it at the same park.
However say you went to Epcot in the morning and HS uin the evening you could book 1 tier 1 FP at Epcot and then as soon as you tap in you could then go look for a tier 1 at HS such as TSM for later in the day.
But again if you're wanting another tier 1 at the same park you must use the tier 1 and both tier 2's.
Also the suggestion of letting them expire is not a good one as many times they don't fall off the system and then you start having issues where you can't book another tier 1.

Thank you! This was helpful!

I'd point out that to my knowledge, you don't have to use all 3. You can have some that just expire. For example, if we are going to Epcot at the park opens at 9am, we will schedule FPs at 9, 10 and 11. We then arrive at 10, only do the last two FPs, and as soon as I scan into the last one I can book a 4th for any ride.

Yes, it might work. Except that sometimes it doesn't and you have that first FP+ that didn't expire and is in the way of booking anything else....then it can be a trip to GS for help.

As I pointed out I don't think this is a good idea since often times the expired ones don't fall off the system and then it wants to deny you more tier 1 .
