Epcot - For the first time in forever...

Well, now you've given me pause. Does security go beyond just checking your ID and letting you in, or do they validate that you're a guest.
If the latter, then I don't see anyway around just driving to Epcot and using the main entrance.

They will check to make sure you have business at the resort (meaning confirmed dining reservation) They won't let you be dropped off to walk to Epcot.

I remember reading reports of people doing mobile order breakfast from counter service places at resorts and being let in because of that - is that still an option, or has Disney quit allowing it?

I know they won't let you park at a resort for a mobile order.

You still have the option for a drop-off at DHS and take the Skyliner to EPCOT. The drop-off is not far from the Skyliner, and you achieve your goal of entering via IG.

The skyliner from HS to Epcot in the morning takes about 45 minutes due to the long wait at Caribbean Beach. If the goal is to save time by entering through IG at rope drop, it's far faster and easier to just go to the main Epcot entrance instead of IG.

YEESSSS! We got stuck in that line once and it was brutal. So hot, full sun, and moved at a snail's pace. I would not choose that unless it was my only transportation option. Epcot parking lot & main entrance is a breeze!
