I had to come and write about what a great time we had at Epcot! I really thought the kids were going to be bored, but we had the best time there. We started the day in Norway at the Princess breakfast - it's overpriced, but how can you not do it if you have a little girl? She could have gone home right then and would have been perfectly happy. Dd is 4 and Ds is 9. Ds loved Test Track and Mission Space, they were AWESOME! Dd loved talking to Crush at The Living Seas and she was actually one of the kids who did talk with him. It was extremely entertaining for all of us (and we had to go back again). Dd also had a blast making cookies at the Jr. Chef area in The Land. We did the Ice Cream Social and that was great (although more $$$$ than I had expected - my bad, I didn't check the prices too closely before I made the PS). We all went to Honey I Shrunk the Audience and were all perfectly happy spending time watching all of the fountains outside afterward. We went into the World Showcase and both kids insisted on making the Kidcot masks and had to go all the way around to get the special surprise when you get all of the charms. They were both obsessed with the project and still treasure the masks. Dd had a blast meeting all of the characters along the way and about had a heart attack when the big red double decker bus pulled up and all the characters got off. OH! And the candy lady in Japan was fantastic!! We got there early, were the second ones to arrive and both kids brought home animals on a stick. She was amazing. Ds was mesmerized by Illuminations and had to go back a second night to watch.

If you're thinking that kids won't have fun at Epcot, please reconsider! It was one of our best days!!!

I'm so glad to hear you and your kids enjoyed it! This is our second favorite park(MK is our fav.) We have a 6yo DD and 21mo DS. We all have a great time at Epcot and go at least 3 times on our trip. I hate when people say it isn't good for kids, or it's so boring. It is not! It is a wonderful park with so many interesting things to see and do. One of our favorites is to watch the different types of entertainment at each of the lands.

Until this last trip in December, I always skipped Epcot with DD4. I didn't think it would be that fun for her. Was I ever wrong! She loved it. World Showcase was great. She enjoyed all the attractions and even the movies. We didn't even do any of the Kidcot stuff and she still had a blast. She loved Maelstrom and the movie in France. We ate a lot of great food as well. We didn't do much at Future World, just the Land and the Seas. Both were excellent. We'll definitely be doing Epcot every trip now. The best thing about it was that it was so much less crowded and slower paced than all the other parks. I didn't feel like I had to rush from ride to ride. Now I can't wait to go back and do everything we didn't get to this time.

I was shocked too when EPCOT was the favorite place of my dd4. She loved kidcot too! She is very in to arts & crafts. We taught her how to say hello in each language so she had fun talking to the CM's. She loved the passports & masks. We did not make it all the way around - did not realize there was a special surprise - darn, next time!! I am definately planning 3 days in EPCOT next time - 1 for FW & 2 for WS. DD loved TT but that was the only thing we did in FW b4 PSB. Just watch, I'll plan 3 days & next time (when she is 6) she'll be bored!
