This will be the first time we are visiting Epcot during the Food & Wine Festival? We were there last May with the Flower festival and got a sampling of all the food kiosks. What is different during the Food & Wine festival?

We will catch the last few days of the festival in November. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Not sure about differences, as I've only been to F&G before they did all the food kiosks.

I can tell you this much: If you can, plan to go to F&W on a weekday afternoon - preferably Monday-Thursday and get there right at 11:00am. Read the menus ahead of time and know what you REALLY want to try. Get all that done the first day.

Friday night through Sunday is VERY crowded and it makes it difficult to maneuver around the promenade, much less get through the lines.
It's still fun then, don't get me wrong. But not if you want to taste a lot of foods.

Disney Food Blog will have some great information as it draws nearer. I would suggest checking it out as it gets closer to happening.

You can check out the 2013 links to get a feel for what it's like. It's similar in nature to what you did at F & G but on a grander scale.

And definitely go during the week and avoid the weekends.

I agree, try to go during a weekday afternoon. There are a bunch of sites that will have the menus up. When we go, we start in the afternoon and take our time at each kiosk, just to pace yourself. Many in my family LOVE the lamb chops from Australia, I love the cheddar cheese soup in Canada, and my mom loves the Lobster rolls in America I believe.

Another good tip is to get a gift card to use there. They sell ones on a wrist bracelet at Epcot. It's convenient.

We also try to not make a reservation for that afternoon/evening just because you'll fill up on yummy food and wine! Have a great trip!

As a first timer as well, my question is what is the charge to sample at the booths? I realize the seminars are an additional fee, but I'm not sure about the rest. Forgive the cynic in me, but I would expect there be an extra cost to sample around the world.

You're right about that!;) there is a charge to sample the different foods. If you are on the DDP, you can use snack credits to try some of the foods. Also, another fan of AJ and the Disney food blog here.....she does an excellent job of providing menus and prices too if I'm not mistaken. Once it's started she posts pictures of the menu boards and you can see the prices there for sure then.
