Epcot Food and Wine Festival

Hello All! Anyone have any idea what the dates are for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival? I know it's somewhere mid-October through mid-November, but a co-worker is trying to plan a trip around this event, and can't get any date info. She's called Disney, and they keep telling her they don't nkow yet. Now, I find it HARD to believe that Disney doesn't know the dates of a fairly large-scale, prolonged event taking place in about 7 months.

Any CMs out there with "inside scoop"???

I agree DD. . seems strange they haven't announced any firm dates this close to the festival; but I did a quick search both here on the DIS and a few other places and there doesn't seem to be any info released yet. . ???


Not sure if this helps or not. . . but here are the dates from the last 3 years:

2002- October 19 - November 17

2001- October 20 - November 18

2000- October 21 - November 19


Just in case no one does have any inside info, I'd say if your friend went for early Nov. she wouldn't miss it. . .

Well, I have seen the dates. They are on the Disney uk web site and for some reason I failed to bookmark it. I seem to recall that it starts on October 16. (Don't ask me why they are on the UK site and not the US site??)
