EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Sept. 25 - Nov 16 2015

Congrats to everyone who has been able to make their reservations so far! I hope that everyone on hold gets through. Fingers crossed!

When can everyone book the deminars? I am seeing people say booking early for other events for Chase Visa is on July 28th, but what about these? There are too many dates floating around!

I called at 8:58 and was told wait time was 5 minutes. After 26 minutes, I finally got Amanda on 10/3 for both times. CM also told me about Chase cardholder special events on 11/9 and 9/28. Sounded good, but I won't be there at those times. Good luck to all!!

Do you have any details? We will be there 9/28. I haven't seen anything posted..

If you remember, can you share the descriptions of the special cardholder events?

Do you happen to remember what those special events were? Congrats on getting what you wanted!

Chase Visa has not announced anything about prebooking for Chase Visa or special events for Visa cardholders. I'm afraid I am not buying it yet if the only place we are getting the info is from WDW-DINE.

If you are a DVC member, a TIW member, or an annual passholder you can book the demos now. If not, July 30. Don't know for sure if they will be made available any earlier for anyone else.

Just got off the phone with DVC Member services, they are booking 10/3 Party of the Senses today for Members. No other bookings.

My 14 minute wait turned into 25 minutes but I got a very good CM (Lisa). She quickly got me all my seminars with a couple exceptions. She said a few of my requests weren't showing in the system. She didn't know if they were already full or if they just hadn't been loaded into the system. She suggested calling back later to see if they showed up. Overall I was very pleased with the process this morning and got almost all the seminars I wanted. She also volunteered that the early booking date for F&W events for Disney VISA cardholders was 7/28, but didn't know the time the phones would open.

I had just taken down some info really quick: Brews, Breakfast and More at the Odyssey on 9/28-I think? and Some type of backstage info on the F&W Marketplaces on 11/9 at 8pm. I told her I never got any info and I checked on the Chase site and there's nothing there. I do remember one of the events was $99. I'm sorry I didn't pay better attention.

Thank you! Not sure about brews and breakfast but the backstage one sounds interesting to me. Thanks for sharing!

I got right in at 9am. I got all of the hard ones, but for some reason the Oct 20th and Oct 21st 5pm culinary demonstrations (both pastry) weren't in the system. I am still excited and since I wasn't 100% sure about them anyways I ok with that.

She did let me know that the premium package is definitely coming back!

And Chase Visa can book the other events starting July 28th!

Did they say what could be booked by Chase Visa members on the 28th? Everything?!

Well, the 73 minute hold was just under 50 minutes. Got everything we wanted except the two on Wednesday, Oct. 21. She said it was possible that they were sold out, but more likely they hadn't been loaded into the system. So, I will try later this afternoon. She said that the system just tells them a seminar is unavailable, not if it is sold out or just not found. I am not an IT guru, but have a basic understanding of programming as I have had IT people report to me in previous jobs. This sounds like such simple thing to do.

I just booked 2 beverage seminars. My expected 21 minute wait was actually 24 minutes. The CM knew what she was doing. The only issue was getting her computer to accept my AP number. I've never been to any special events at F & W and am looking forward to these.

Yes, she said everything, but they do hold seats back. so if they tell you it is sold out you will have to call back when main registration opens.

Can anyone tell me if the Chase card holders have to book with a Disney Visa on the Chase early booking day? Or, can they use any Chase card? I would rather use my Chase Sapphire Preferred and get 2 points on the dollar over the Disney Visa that gets only 1. Thanks in advance!

Yes, you must book with a Disney visa on the Chase early booking day.

No, we don't yet know when that is. Some CMs at WDW DINE are saying its the 28th, others are saying it's the 29th. I'm not putting it in the first post until Chase announces the date.

All events are open except those with a very small capacity, usually less than 15 or 20 persons - last year there were some signature dinners with a capacity of 10 and those were not included. There is limited space for each event - they aren't making the entire event inventory available - so all Chase bookings will sell out within a few hours. If you don't get a reservation on the Chase booking day, you'll need to call back on July 30.

I was just told Disney Visa is the 28th@ 7 am. I guess take that with a grain of salt. It is my understanding that if something was unavailable today doesn't mean that its completely sold out. They only do X number of seats for early booking, right? The CM didn't know the answer to this.
