Are there any other good places to get PS's at to watch the fireworks beyond Rose & Crown Pub? We will be traveling with a 1 year old and would like to reservations somewhere so we don’t have to stand around and wait with him.

How good is the food at Rose & Crown Pub? We aren’t huge seafood fans but we do like Fish & Chips when we have had that at restaurants around our home town.

Thanks!

Not quite as good, but not too bad at all - Les Chefs de France. Ask for a table in/near the window

All I can assure you of is two things:
- Fish & Chips is only one of many Brit Dishes you'll find at the Rose & Crown ('we' tend to eat more beef, pork, pastries, etc. than fish - 'traditionally')
- The food there is a far more elaborate version of what you'd really find at a British pub

Seriously though, I haven't eaten there for years so I can't really remember much about it (so it was probably 'average' IMO), but I would advise you to check out the menu they have up on www.allearsnet.com so you can see if there's anything there you'd like.
My BF only eats UK/US type food, but he wouldn't touch anything at the Rose & Crown.
