hi, does any one know what the procedure is for the Epcot fireworks show

Not sure what you are asking. The show goes off over/around World Showcase Lagoon nightly. You just find a spot to watch.

Leaving Teppan Edo after a 7:40 reservation, where should I go (run to?) to have a good view of the fireworks?

Just find a place with a clear view of the middle of the lagoon.

You could walk right out onto the balcony outside Teppan Edo/Tokyo Dining. But, as others have mentioned, you can stand and watch from most spots around the World Showcase. There is so much available space, Epcot is the easiest park to watch a nighttime spectalutor
