I’m here at Epcot right now and what the heck is going on by the lake? Tons of lifts, lights, etc - also Harmonious is 10 minutes later today. Something special?

It looks dark there. This is the longest day of the year and it should be lighter than that right now. I'm watching the 10 minute pre-show. Is that live?

Even though Disney has been getting on my last nerves lately, I will say this was a nice impromptu feeling show and I enjoyed the music and song selection.

Live stream
It was Not as I thought it’d be. An easy pass for me. Other family members left before it ended. I know I’ll be going on rides while it’s going on in the future..

Ok, why the heck did nobody tell me that Harmonious includes a long rendition of "Someday"?! I still prefer Illuminations, but that hit me square in the feels.

They should use the Live audio in future shows. Sounded a lot better, with everyone together instead of them likely creating the recording separately due to Covid.

There's a lot of stuff in the Lagoon that wasn't shown on TV as they were paying attention to the Live singers.

I preferred watching the live singers over experiencing harmonious in person at epcot. Watching the live stream made me realize what was missing in the park: it’s really hard to hear the music in the park and it is hard to appreciate the different languages.
When i saw harmonious in person, I didn’t realize they were presenting the songs in different languages until mid show when they hit a language I was more familiar with.
Generally, my brain simply maps English on top of a song I know well. The non English versions end up sounding muddled in the park, like I can’t quite hear what they are saying, but I already know the English lyrics so I follow along in my head… in English.

The Disney songs presented in English and the language of the story setting is a nice idea, but requires really good sound systems and subtlety. Fireworks are all about loud and spectacle which undermines that. They are inappropriately paired.

Had planned to watch and forgot. Sounds like it wasn't what I expected. I see there is a repeat tonight.

I don't think it is a "repeat tonight" so much as it streams on Disney+ so you can watch it whenever you want.

I think disboards has good videos of Harmonious on their youtube channel. For those wanting to see 'the show' and fireworks, that is a better option.

I agree with a lot of folks that they should use the audio recording from last night for future Harmonius shows. The songs just had so much more passion and depth to them sung by the live singers/choir and performed by the live orchestra. I saw some YT live streams after the Disney+ one ended that say it sounded even more incredible in person.

Also, @Moliphino, very much agree. Say what you want about the show itself, but it gained major points for me just for using that song. In general, Hunchback has some of the best music of any Disney animated feature ever.
