Epcot F & G -butterfly garden?

I thought I saw somewhere there is a butterfly area at Epcot? Is this only during F & G? Also, are the topiaries throughout the park or only certain places? Are there any additional attractions or things to see there during this time that you can't otherwise see? I'll be there during this so excited to see everything I can!

The Butterfly Garden is there only during F&G. The topiaries can be found throughout Epcot. There are raised bed gardens on display as well as kiosks selling garden/landscaping decor.

Yes, the butterfly area is only there during the F & G. Topiaries will be throughout, you'll see some as you immediately enter the park, and there will be more throughout the countries often tying the topiary you see to the specific country. Depending on your preference it could be worth checking out the festival center, they will have some demonstrations/seminars, extra merchandise, and more. Oh and of course, all the food and drinks.

We did the butterfly garden last year. It was awesome. Keep an eye out for little hidden surprises.

I was in the butterfly garden last week and there were only a few butterflies in there (compared to 2 years ago). I saw a lot flying around outside the tent so I think they were escaping! The food booths were cool and the the flowers and topiaries just amazing!

The topiaries are everywhere! Every time I thought I'd seen them all, I'd find another. I think the last ones I found were Lightning McQueen and Mater over near Test Track. Oh, and Sheriff Woody near the Smokehouse food booth in the US pavilion. Biggest surprise thrill of my trip: discovering the Phineas and Ferb topiaries! I knew they had existed in years past, but hadn't heard that they were there this year.

This was my first visit during F&G, and right now I'm planning to go back around the same time next year.

Let's see if I can edit this and add a photo - what I was so excited about...



Ferb looks rather skeptical about Phineas's bright idea.

For F & G, the butterfly house is meh. Everything else as pictured is so bright and fun! I like the themes for the countries. For instance, at UK, they have big giant Twinings 'tea cups' with each one featuring the actual plant growing for that flavor of tea. Very fun! And the mini choochoo spot has a green house and garden stuff so tiny. We are enjoying it!

If you are a butterfly and/or photography person, the butterfly "house" is very cool. I got some good shots. There's something magical about being around so many of those flying creatures. It was a bit crowded when I walked through.. much like many zoos have but this is a temporary tent-like or greenhouse structure.

My fave things....Urban Eats stand!!!! yahoo yummmm and also the stand by Morocco that had the fresh cup of yummy Ceviche!! France was ok, nice sampling of duck and potatoes. Those were the best food kiosks. I always go back to Urban Eats, fresh kale and goat cheese salads, or tilapia, GF offerings. SO good.

Minus points for sticking it immediately behind a designated smoking area this yr (new location by Canada instead of Mexico last yr) so I have to get full of smoke before I go eat my organic goodies...?!!!
