I heard that it's mainly Future world stuff and the park doesn't stay open until midnight or anything. What are your opinions?

I haven't experienced any of the EMH's yet.

For morning EMH at Epcot, the following attractions are open:
Mission: SPACE
Spaceship Earth
Test Track
Universe of Energy

For evening EMH, the following attractions are available:
El Rio del Tiempo (Mexico)
Honey, I Shrunk the Audience
Journey Into Imagination With Figment
Maelstrom (Norway)
Mission: SPACE
Spaceship Earth
Test Track
Universe of Energy

So ... whether EMH will be worth it for you will depend largely on how important these attractions are on your plan and whether or not you can work them into your normal day at Epcot. Nights are particularly lovely at Epcot -- the pavilion lighting is really cool, and you can normally catch a nice breeze off the lagoon. On nights when Epcot closes at 9pm, EMH does indeed go until 12mn, unless the park is emptying out quickly, in which case it may close earlier. But EMH evenings are scheduled to run from 9pm-12mn.

Thanks for the input. They are open until midnight?
I was going to plan an ENTIRE day at Epcot (from like 9AM until closing) but midnight is a long time to go. Do you think if I go around 3PM until midnight I will still see everything? If I can do something else in my morning (be a bum and sleep in or go to the pool or whatever) I'll do that. I am not a morning person anyways.

I'm thinking if parks are open until midnight on EMH evenings that means I can fit in extras during my day and not have a problem doing all the things I want and still have time to breathe!

I guess I would just have to make sure I do any must-dos that are not open during EMH before actual park closing time.

I think that if you either spend the entire day (9am-9pm) at Epcot OR if you spend 3pm-12mn at Epcot, you'll have plenty of time to see everything. My vote would be to sleep in, show up around 2-3pm and stay until EMH is over. Just be sure to make note of which rides and attractions you must see before 9pm, so that you don't find yourself at EMH with nothing left to see. Build your schedule around the World Showcase attractions, entertainment and restaurants first, so that you can catch stuff like Mission: Space and Test Track during EMH, when the WS stuff isn't open.

Thanks for your help. I've been before but it was family time with little sister so all I remember was MK , MGM and water parks... I'm wondering if we even went to Epcot!

Good knowing I can get there late and stay late I can fit in a water park or just sleep in :cloud9:

I differ in opinion here. If you really want to do either test track/Soarin or Mission Space I say do the EMH AM. We have been to the park on days where the fast passes for these rides(especially test track) are gone by lunch. Unless you are giong during a very unbusy time I would say go early and enjoy.

It doesn't say anything about Soarin'... Does it mean it's not open during EMH or they just didn't put it on there because it's too new?

So during EMH at Epcot, all the countries are not still open to browse through? From what i understand just certain attractions are open?

We went to the evening EMH at Epcot in January.. and was disappointed. Almost the entire World SHowcase shut down at 9pm. Mexico and its counter service was open, and I know Maelstrom in Norway was open, but Im thinking the shops and food stands there were closed. We love walking the countries at night, and we were sad to see that only the attractions were open ( and test track was broken) If you wait to see the attractions during the EMH, remember that the Ellen one is 45 minutes long. That takes up 1/3 of the EMH alone. We ended up doing maelstorm, mexico boat, and Mission space. we hung out in MS while the kids played those games and then we were just exhausted. On the way out.. and about 11:30, test track was open again but we just walked back to the Boardwalk. We had already done MS that day, and TT, and SE, and Figment, and Mexico boat.. what we really wanted to do was browse the countries. I highly doubt we will do Epcots EMH at night again in January.. We MIGHT try it for a bit at Thanksgiving, but only if its so crowded that we arent getting the attractions in during the day.

Soaring isnt listed on EMH because it isnt officially open until May 5th

We did the EMH at Epcot in January too and be warned, the world showcase is NOT open, only Mexico and Norway. We didn't do the World Showcase during the day since we were planning on doing it that night......NO GO! Talk about bummed out. We wouldn't do Epcot EMH at night anymore unless we absolutely had to.
