Nan--checking in for myself and Rachel (she is at voice camp). I am completely cut, just working on assembling and embellishing. Rachel has all her groups on the gypsy, she needs to cut and assemble. we will be postal no later than June 27th.

Quick question (my brain isn't really working so well) the letters are supposed to be embellished 2 ways, correct? I have a couple that I'm having trouble figuring out a second embellishment

Ummm...I was only thinking one embellishment...do I need to go back to the drawing board on these? Is it always embellished twice on the letters because I don't know that I have ever done that. Guess I need to read directions better.

Not sure that is why I'm asking Most of mine have one layer of specialty paper and an embellishment or a paper piecing.

one way is the only way I did it.. did the directions say two???? OH gosh I hope not... I did some w/ 2 embell ink & decoration... or emboss and embel...
but only 1 way is necessay!!!!

The directions say: ELEMENTS should be embellished in 2 different ways.... so no worry on the letters.... letters are 1 embellishment... any more than that can be overkill, IMO.

Even w/ elements... I always consider the creativity of the element and papers used as an embellishment especially when you ink, use speciality paper, glitter paper, think outside the box.... then add the embellishment....


So please.. whatever you are doing currently please continue to do!!!
