As a follow up to my FEA post - has anyone done Epcot EMH 9-11pm? We have only gone to Epcot on the off season and it should be off season during our next trip (labor day weekend and a couple days after) but I haven't yet been able to score FEA FP+ and I also am having trouble getting the reservation I want at Beaches & Cream (this is one place I wanted last trip but couldn't get). I did get a dinner reservation for Tuesday (a day I planned on doing MK) at 7:20pm and also a day Epcot has EMH. Is there much to do there after Illuminations? Would we have a shorter standby wait if we did FEA at this time? I only want to leave MK if Epcot EMH and the Beaches & Cream dinner are going to be OUTSTANDING. Last trip we made the mistake of doing MK on a Monday and I vowed NEVER AGAIN but we may have to do MK - celebrate the magic/wishes, during the busier Sun or Mon if we do Epcot Tuesday evening. We did purchase Park Hoppers as well.

It's been a while, but Beaches & Cream is pretty much an ice-cream shop. It's a good ice cream shop, but I don't know whether it's worth leaving a park for. I don't even think it's worth an ADR -- the last time I was there they didn't take them. It's okay, and a nice break if you're around Beach Club, but I don't think it's a destination.

If you need B&C to be outstanding in order to leave MK, stay in the MK> B&C is a cute spot, has the expected soda shop food and has ice cream. To be honest, I would not even leave Epcot fo B&C. I think it is a convenient place to eat if you are in the area, but I agree, it is not a destination.

The food at B&C is good but not outstanding. It's definitely a fun place to experience, but I wouldn't drop everything for it.

Thanks everyone! I just found another thread on the Restaurant forum and I think we will skip it. Hopefully somebody staying in that area will score my reservation. Last trip we made 2 dinner reservations and both we probably would have done better skipping (res was too late for our kids or we had to leave the park or food was not the greatest). Also I am not a foodie and I try not to gain 10lbs each trip, maybe I will just grab a Dole Whip when we get back to the poly.

I like the ice cream at the Main Street ice cream parlor. I think it's edy's and so its the same as B&C but it is nice to have a sundae at those tables outside and just enjoy main street

I agree with the others, if you need an ice cream "fix" I personally wouldn't leave MK just to go to B&C. If you need a pseudo kitchen sink fix, you can get the Mickey pants sundae on Main Street
