So I just heard that my MIL agreed to watch DD for one night while we are in WDW and I want to do the 'drink tour' of Epcot with DH. But we will share a drink at each country so we dont get too drunk, or spend too much money. So my question is, not knowing too much about what kinds of snack stands they have, should we plan a sit down dinner, or just snack as we wander?

Part of the appeal is to just wander and relax (since traveling with our 2.5 y.o. DD isnt really going to be relaxing) but we also really like food and I dont want to be just eating junk.

and if you think sit down dinner, then what restaurant?

We are talking about two weeks from today, so ADRs are going to be tough, but I can try.
oh and we have an ADR for Marrakesh later in the week so that one is out.

I say snack as you go. There are so many great things to get from the CS locations around the World Showcase that you won't feel like you're missing out on a fun adult culinary adventure, but you'll still have plenty of room for the booze! :thumbsup2

I'd have a Margarita in Mexico and a Grand Marnier in France. I did have a Sangria, but can't remember where I got it...:cool1: popcorn::

We are doing the same thing in 2 weeks! Well.. its my friend not my DH and we are tricking her mom into watching my DD.. but.. we are doing the drink tour and snacking along the way. We will be sharing drinks and food. We plan on something from the norway bakery, something from the french bakery, a pretzel from Germany and probably fish and chips in England. we may eat more but those are for sure. After that we are heading into PI to play before it closes. :sad1:

yeah I was just thinking of heading to PI too.
can I come with you if DH flakes and doesnt want to drink with me?
(just kidding)

I'd eat as you go - you'll be plenty full if you get a few things here and there =)

if you want a reservation for a child free meal, see if you can get into Bistro or Chefs.

You're "tricking" her mom? How? Why?
