epcot dinners

Hello! We are going in december for 12 days, we have the dining plan. We are staying the first six days at the beach club, I have two dinners to plan that week still, and figured we would just walk into Epcot for dinner.
We have three girls, 4, 2 and 1, we plan on doing the character one in Norway, but have thought about either dinner at the Biergarten in Germany, read there is a show, what sort of show, would they like it.
Mexico by the boat ride, which we are forced to ride over, and over and over and over, so we will be in that area.
Or The Coral Reef, which I have not seen mentioned on the dining plan, would they like that?
Any thoughts, or other ideas?

I wouldn't recommend the San Angel Inn to anyone. Nice atmosphere but that is where "nice" ends. Yuck.

My kids like San Angel, but we always stick with the Nachos which are great I LOVE the atmosphere here and my family also loves Biergarten and Teppenyaki..

You can use the dining plan for Coral Reef, but it will cost you 2 table service meals.

I don't know if this is an option to you, but The Garden Grill does a character dinner and the food is good, you can check out the menu here http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm

I am doing all character meals for my daughter, except 50's Prime Time in MGM, so this was a definite must for us. We did the Princess breakfast last year and really enjoyed it, but will not be in Epcot for breakfast this year and the dinner menu didn't look so great.

Before you make the mistake of Garden Grill, please read the thread called GAVE GARDEN GRILL A SECOND CHANCE - OOPS. It will enlighten you!! Avoid that place unless you have unlimited funds and no appetite.

We like San Angel The food isn't excellent but it's not bad and the atmosphere is nice.

We went to Corral Reef in 2001. It is wonderful. The food was fabulous and the service excellent. You sit in booth/banquet type seats and everyone views the wall of fish. Giagantic fish tank! It does require 2 dining passes each, but what we are doing is going there for lunch and not getting an app-just entrees (and maybe dessert because they have some very tempting chocolate!). That way we'll save our passes for dinner...Le Cellier.

Thank you so much for pointing out that thread to me, I'll be looking over other Epcot choices today and changing my reservations for there, I can't believe the reviews it was given, so disappointing! Thanks again!!!
