Which reservation should I keep: Chef de France, San Angel, or Le Cellar? I'm doing Be our Guest which is billed as French will Chef de France be too much French?

Of your choices I would do San Angel Inn. We like Le Cellier and would go back, but it is expensive for what you get. We do not particularly like French food, so that is specific to our tastes. We really liked San Angel. It was the surprise of our trip
Enjoy

Personally, I'd keep Chefs de France. IMHO Le Cellier is now one of the most overpriced TS restaurants in WDW (whether you're paying OOP or with DDP credits). Although the setting is nice, San Angel isn't much different from what we can get at a Mexican place where we live. DW and I like Chefs de France for a nice setting, and French food isn't widely available where we live.

As for comparisons with Chefs de France, I don't think they're very similar, even though they're both nominally French. But if you prefer San Angel for that reason, I think that would be fine.

I'll agree with the Colonel. While they are both " French", there's not much duplication on the menus, and the ambiance is completely different. I think Les Chefs is your best bet.

We dislike the crowding and noise at San Angel. We don't think it's worth it for the mediocre food. We like La Hacienda much more. Le Cellier isn't as good as it used to be. If you want a better steak in a less crowded setting, try the Yachtsman or better yet, Shulas.

Another vote for Les Chefs, I love both restaurants at Mexico but if you are going for a unique experience Chefs is better. I don't like Le Cellier at all, I think it's over hyped and not worth it. I've not done BOG for dinner, only breakfast and lunch so can't speak to it but it's very noisy during those meals so I can't imagine it being any better at dinner, Le Chefs is a little more intimate.

It was 4 years ago, but we were not impressed with Chefs. Food was not great, and our 2-top was barely the size of a 1-top (it seemed shoved into an awkward spot against a column in the middle of an already crowded room), & the waiter kept pushing items not included on our dining plan.

Also about 4 years ago we had a GREAT meal at Le Cellier. Fantastic food all around, great service, and they made us feel really special celebrating our anniversary.

Have always enjoyed San Angel. So that would get my vote.

We used to really like San Angel Inn, but we stopped going when the food went way downhill. Le Cellier is definitely very expensive but we never had a bad meal there. We've enjoyed Chefs de France several times as well. Our new favorite at Epcot is Via Napoli.

I would probably go for Le Cellier. I love steaks although they are expensive, I also like Mexican food so you also can't go wrong with San Angel Inn.

My thoughts:

Chefs de France - pre fix menu is actually affordable and with surprisingly large portions; tables are VERY close together
San Angel - I'm pretty wimpy as far a "hot" fodd goes and I've tried this place 3 times with 3 different entrees and each time it was WAY too hot for me. YMMV.
Le Cellier - I thought the food was quite good, but once it became a signature and the price went up EVEN MORE; its simply not worth it.
