Do most of you snack around the world at Epcot or make reservations for meals? I currently have a fully day dedicated to Epcot for my upcoming trip and the day we are going, the park will be open until 11 PM (we do plan to take a mid-day break back at our hotel - it will just be my husband and i on the trip). Would you get small bites from different countries? And if we did that during lunch time, would we be too full for a big dinner at a signature restaurant that night? Or should we do a sit down restaurant for lunch, then snack around the world at night (or vice versa)?

We do it differently all the time because some of our favourite counter service and table service restaurants are at Epcot. Some days we snack all around with no plans for a TS, and some days we dine.

My preference is to skip breakfast and make an ADR for an early TS lunch in WS. Then we spend the rest of the day/evening snacking when we get hungry.

We did the snack at lunch and sit-down dinner.

Last year we had two ADRs. We ate and Rose&Crown and Marrakesh. R&C was okay, wasn’t a fan of Marrakesh. This year we were going to do Chefs de France, but we had an ADR for BoG dinner open that night and snagged it instead (been trying to get dinner there for awhile). So we’re going to park hop in the afternoon instead this year.

If you do snack around the word, start at the gate to boardwalk and go clockwise. We went counterclockwise and it didn’t work great.

Many of our favorite sit down restaurants are in WS. We stay at the BCV. On a 7 night trip we probably eat dinner in WS 4 or 5 nights. We snack a bit at lunch and have a dinner ADR.
I don’t believe a lot os QS are open during EMH.

I think it is a personal preference. I love "snacking" around since I like to try lots of different things. I also feel tired after a big meal so lots of small bites suit me just fine.

I like to do a modified spin on snacking around epcot. It's usually just me and DS10 and we are both pretty adventurous with similar tastes in foods. We will start at one end and grab a single CS meal and split it. Walk some more and grab another CS and split. and so on. We've found that this really works well for use because we aren't too full to eat at more than one or two places.

We did a qs lunch at sunshine seasons and a ts dinner in Ws. DH would be very upset if we tried snacking instead. I would love to try snacking around ws, but I’m able to function off small meals here and there where DH can’t.

As Hopefully pointed out, you won't have many options during EMH. Maybe a cart. Definitely don't count on snacking on anything interesting after regular close.

The idea of getting a bite here and there is very attractive but it never worked out for us. Standing in line, finding a spot to set things down or actually sitting, then eating...we didn't feel like doing that more than a couple of times. Of course, we had three kids with us. A couple of adults and festival booths worked out better. Still, it felt like a lot of waiting in line.
I tend to schedule a TS lunch, QS in the evening, with dessert (whatever that means to you :drinking1) closer to IllumiNations. If there are festival booths, I want 2-3 days to visit for a while. Otherwise, it feels like a job instead of fun.

We typically have 3-4 TS meals at Epcot because we love the WS restaurants. Also, some of my favorite QS are in Epcot. You can try to snack around the world. If you’re going over the holidays, it would be easier with the marketplaces.

For us, it depends when we are there. During Wine and Food, we snack and taste all afternoon, but pick a TS for evening. Othertimes, we will pick a QS for lunch and a TS for evening. Many, many good choices.

We tend to end up at La Cava for a dip trio around lunch, then later maybe split a sandwich at Les Halles. We typically have a sit down dinner.

During F&W and F&G we will usually snack for lunch and dinner.

Like others during F&G and F&W we just eat from the booths for all our meals just about every day. If a festival isn't going on (which seems to be all year now) we tend to just play it by ear. We have APs so we never spend all day in one park, we hop to at least two, sometimes 3 and 4 parks every day. We might go to LaCava and get some quac and chips for an afternoon meal then later in the day check on MDE to see if something is open in the park or we might do an around the world wine tasting day and eat small bites at the wine bar in Italy and get a cheese plate at Germany and that be our meals for the day.

Next year on our vacation we are doing 2 EPCOT days one our 1st lunch at Coral Sea (the relative who wants this is actually paying for it) and dinner at Rose & Crown for Illuminations. The 2nd day its CS anywhere and dinner at Garden Grill. We love the ts restaurants in EPCOT.

I’m here now and have “snacked” around the world for the current holidays festival. On the DDP and pretty much everything is snack eligible this year which is great. Also did this for flower and garden festival and it’s a really good way to eat if you don’t mind a little wait between each meal.

For counter service I love the kebabs in Morocco and for table service via Napoli and tepan edo are our favourites.
