Going with DNc and DNph (5 and 8) and was wondering which restaurant at EPCOT would be more entertaining for them? First time going alone with them and I would like to make it all about them. TIA. :cool1:

The Biergarten at Germany has a band that plays and it seems that the kids enjoy it and many dance. It's a buffet.

If your kids are into characters, the meal at Garden Grill has Mickey, Chip, and Dale.

I second the Biergarten...........We had my neice and nephew (8 & 5 respctively) and both went down to the dance floor and "danced away" to the oompah band...........it was great to watch them.....from our dinner table..........

Biergarten was my kids' first Epcot restaurant. :Pinkbounc

My kids want to go back to the "restauarant where the table is a grill" and "have another Chocolate Moose" They are five and six. (translation, Teppenyaki and Le Cellier). We went to Biergarten last trip.....its "the restaurant where you look like you are eating outside" but missed the band and it didn't impress them too much.

Thanks to all your responses. If anyone else can think of others please feel free, I'd welcome all recommendations. TIA :cool1:

My son (9) liked San Angel in Mexico. They had a Mariachi band and I think he liked how dark it was in there and watching the boats go by. It wasn't the best Mexican food I'd ever eaten, but it was ok.

DS6 Has to eat at Coral Reef every trip. He also enjoys character meals, Garden Grill with Mickey is always a hit.

My kids really enjoyed Teppenyaki. Had a blast with the chopsticks. :)

Wev'e done them all and enjoyed many, especially listed above, but the one we and my two girls 4 & 6 really liked Morroco. MY 6 yr. old is a very picky eater (mostly pasta), and I ordered her couscous and told her it was Alladin Pasta. She's so sensitive to other peoples feelings I told her to try it because she didn't want to hurt Alladins feelings, by not trying his food. Anyway she liked it.
We've been there a few times with friends and relatives and the kids always got up to dance with the Belly dancer, which was fun.
Outside the restaurant we always get autographs and pictures with Aladin and Jasmine.
They also make the mask at the craft center. Aladin signed the mask one time.

My kids are 7 and 4 and when we went recently, we ate quite a bit at EPCOT. We were worried, but they liked these places: The Land charecter meal (we had lunch, they have a special kids meal of chicken fingers and fries) where Mickey and friends entertained them, they liked San Angel Inn because they liked to see the volcano (they have kids burrito and nacho chips for them to enjoy) and also liked the Rose and Crown Pub, oddly, where they liked the fish and chips (as do we!) plus it has a nice view of the World showcase. Hope this helps!
