Hello! We are heading to Disney in a little over two weeks, so I've been looking over my plans. We will have 2 days and EPCOT, and I'm trying to decide on our eating that day. Typically we do 2 sit down meals a day when we visit Disney, but this trip we decided to try some QS, snacking, and new restaurants or ones we haven't been to in a long time.

Currently I have a lunch at Biergarten (new to us) on one day, Via Napoli (haven't been since 2011), and Le Cellier dinner (haven't been since 2009) on another day. I'm torn about whether to keep these or drop one to snack around the world and try festival food booths.

Have you guys been to these restaurants recently? Is it worth going to Biergarten & Le Cellier specifically?

Was at Epcot every afternoon last week and didn't try any of those. I don't book in advance and all three would pop up as available every single morning for that night or afternoon. Of the three, the only one I've ever eaten at was Le Cellier and I wasn't impressed, too small and dark and loud for us. Never eaten at Biergarten because up until now it was buffet and that's a waste of money for me since I don't eat a lot at one meal, would still be a waste for me since I believe it's family style. Never eaten at Via Napoli because my son doesn't like pizza, we have eaten at Tutto Italia and enjoyed that.

I would probably drop one if you have two on the same day and just snack around the booths. The portion sizes seemed larger than normal for me this year but that might be because I wasn't sharing but they have a lot of good food there.

Thank you for the info on portion sizes and feedback! I'm really thinking I might drop one to try the booths, it all looks so good. I know Le Cellier can be a hard reservation to get. We've loved it in the past, but I know it will be pricey as well. It's so hard to decide.

We went to Biergarten for the first time in October and loved it! My husband loved the food. I liked the food, but my daughter loved the band and it made it totally worth it. We are going again for our June trip.

Have you looked at the food booth offerings? If it appeals, totally eat around the world.
I am not a Le Cellier fan, I remember it’s glory days too well. If it was us, I would only do one ts per day and nosh around the food booths all day w a sunshineseasons visit too.

I am planning a Le Cellier ADR, but only for my daughter to have the soup and order of poutine and the maple creme brule! This way we will still have plenty of room for snacking!

I don't usually plan a sit down at Epcot during a festival. So many great choices at booths. I was there in March and going back in May. I did not get to try all I wanted last month, so I am definitely just eating around the world again.

We ate at Via Napoli During our last trip in 2019. Primarily for the reason that our first date was at an unrelated restaurant named Via Napoli. So, we just thought it was cool and we heard good things about it so we were happy to try it. It was ok. If you are really into that style of pizza, go for it. I do enjoy that style of pizza myself, but it may not be for everyone. And at the end of the day I think you have a lot better options in Epcot. If Italian is what you are looking for, you might want to hop on a boat and head over to the Swan and dolphin. We enjoy hopping on the boat and going over to the boardwalk area for dinner. Gives you a little break outside of the park.

I ate at Le Cellier in March for the first time. I really enjoyed it so if you're able to get a reservation, I'd snag it if I were you. I've eaten at least twice (possibly 3 times) at Biergarten. I enjoy the atmosphere, but I'm not in a hurry to go back as there are other restaurants I'd like to try.

I would really consider eating lunch through the kiosks. Lots of really good choices and lots of variety. We had 2 days at EPCOT and could not get through all the kiosks we wanted to try.
The food at Le Cellier is very good. The knock is its very expensive for a steak house.

I'd drop BG lunch. Keep Via Napoli and Le Cellier dinner. BG is heavy, fatty food. Look at menu. It was not for us. German food is not our favorite. Snack for lunch.

I would definitely eat lunch at the kiosks. But I would also definitely get dinner in a sit down restaurant to get off your feet for a little bit and enjoy the air conditioning. I would take the boat and check out some of the resort restaurants.

We have not eaten at BG for years. I have heard it has gone downhill but I cant comment on that personally. We love Via Napoli- its a must do for us!

Le Cellier is pricy- im still not sure it is worth the price point but saying that- its on our list this trip too.

We plan to try the festival booths for lunch. It will be our first time so we are excited.

My opinion is to keep some sit downs but maybe drop BG?

We are doing a sit-down lunch and then the kiosks for dinner. I want to be able to sit down in air conditioning mid-day when it is the hottest.

We ate at LeCellier in July after several years since eating there. It was good, but mildly disappointing, perhaps the cost factored in to that. One of our steaks was tough, the other wonderful. We are planning on Biergarten in a few weeks and really looking forward to the family style serving as opposed to the usual buffet. We do like german food. We have never, in over 30 trips, eaten in a restaurant in Italy. We also say we want to, but there are so many other places we like in Epcot, and we like Mama Melrose in Hollywood Studios. I agree with many of the pp's that its nice to have break in the AC when its hot outside, and also to try different things from the kiosks. We will do Kiosk food for lunch and Teppan Edo for dinner on our full day at Epcot with a break at the resort after lunch. Our arrival evening will be Biergarten as a date for just my DH and myself. The lovely thing is that there is no wrong answer and so many tasty things to eat! Enjoy!

It was amazing and I can't reccomend enough that people try it this way before it goes 'back to normal' (selfishly hoping it never does so we can keep eating there).
