EPCOT confusion....please help me!

I'm desperately trying to remember our 1997 trip to the world to help with our planning for next May, but I don't remember much about EPCOT.

In the WS, is there just one building for each country, or what is there? Is there a whole little "village" type thing with several buildings, and if there are, what's in them?

I know we missed a lot the last time, and I don't want to miss it all this time. I keep reading posts about characters in certain countries, how can I find them?

Most of the countries have a cluster of buildings. Offhand, Mexico is the only one that pops to mind with only 1 building. As for what is in the buildings - shops, restaurants, movies, rides, etc.

You might like to try out some of the restuarants in WS.Alfredo's in Italy is one of our favorites.Also 9 Dragons in China,San Angel Inn in Mexico,Restaurant Akershus in Norway.For walk up Great Britain fish and chips are delicious!!!

the millennium celebration that hosted many other nations was a nice add on. I think you may be remembering that.
