I have never been to Disney during a Run Disney event. I have an 8:30 am breakfast ADR for Garden Grill on a Sunday of an upcoming Run Disney event. We are staying at POFQ and I was wondering how early do I need to try and catch a Disney bus to attempt to make it to our ADR on time?

Just a note it looks like this is the day of the 10 Miler which starts at 5:00 am in Epcot and expected end is 9:00 am in Epcot. Should I maybe skip a Disney bus and maybe try and get an Uber at 7:00 am. Is that even enough time to get there by say 8:00? Yikes this might be a big mistake! Any advice would be appreciated.

I do a lot of rD races (see signature). If the park is open, transportation will be running as usual and the drivers will know what roads are closed and what route to take. You might just give yourself an extra 30-45 minutes than you normally would, as there may be extra traffic and a specific route you need to take in the park to cross the course. But a park bus from your resort should get you there just fine. If you're still concerned, just ask the front desk for their advice when you check in.

Just curious, this is for Sunday 4/6 (which is the date of the 10-miler)? Epcot operating hours are pushed back to a 10am opening (9:30am early entry) that day and Garden Grill has posted hours starting at 9:30am (it’s normally 8:30am), so I’m a little surprised you have an 8:30am reservation. Or if you do have one I wonder if they made it available in error.

I know the 10 miler might be different than the princess 1/2, but getting from POR to Epcot was a nightmare the morning of the princess 1/2. I should have known better!
