Epcot - best drinks?

Do you remember what was in the Welsh Dragon?

Like stated above- but don't be put off by the green - I am not a fan of green de menthe, and was going to order without, the server convinced me to "try it" and it was delicious! Its a must have - and yes, go in to the bar, and you can get it in the souvenir glass, or a plastic cup, both to go...

and I must add, stop in Italy to get a nice glass of Rosa Regale, sparkling champagne that smells of strawberries, very nice!

Grand mariner and grey goose slushies. Avocado and blood orange margaritas in Mexico. I tend to go back and forth between France and Mexico.

I'm not much of a drinker. The margaritas in Mexico are really strong so if you are a non drinker maybe stay away from them. Both DH and I love the Grand Marnier orange slush from the France Kiosk. Definitely worth the cost.

The CM in the pub in the UK mind me a cocktail that was kind of a blend of the English Rose and The Welsh Dragon, I mean, it's not on the menu, but it was really fun, the guy was distracted by chatting to me and started by making a mistake. I laughed it off and told him I am half English, half Welsh, so it was cool, so he finished it off nicely and it was a one off!

I love little one off personal CM memories like this so, it's a winner!

Lots of good responses so far. I agree with the Grapefruit beer (even though I'm partial to the Dunkel) in Germany. My DW buys a passport of sorts that gets her a glass of wine in Germany, Italy and France. I do not recall the exact $$$ but I want to say around $25. Comes out to less than $9 per glass of wine which is impressive at WDW.

Grand Marnier/Grey Goose Slush in France or the Citron Slush are both great.

La Cava De Tequila has different margaritas to choose from. The cucumber isn't too bad.

Just about any drink at the Rose & Crown Pub.

Tipsy Duck in Love is a must for me each and every trip. I believe they also serve a non-alcoholic version (without the bourbon.)

Grapefruit beer is great, but it's lost its appeal since I can now find it everywhere.

We like the margaritas at La Cava, but we now only stick with the ones on the rocks. They frozens we've had just aren't nearly as potent...but cost the same. The blood orange has been our favorite.

Still, we popped into R&C pub this past trip and I think I have a new Epcot fave...the Welsh Dragon.

I want one of these right now!

The Beverly at Club Cool.

:rolleyes1

But seriously, the Gran Marnier slushie was very nice to sip on during Illuminations.
LOL The "Beverly" at Club Cool. Good drink to share with friends and family. o_O LOL

Lots of great options to try,

France - Grand Marnier Orange Slushy ( this is my favorite)
Japan - Green Tea Plum Wine ( I think that what's its called)
Mexico - Margaritas

If you are going during October, Food and Wine will be going on and there are even more choices. Also at F&W Kiosks' the drinks are not full size cocktails.

We are doing the Alcohol Crawl World Tour at Epcot, this is our list of stops and drinks that are the best!

Mexico - La Cava Del Tequila: Blood Orange Margarita

Norway - Carlsberg

China - Tea Stand: Canto Loopy

Germany - Altenmunster Oktoberfest

Italy - Via Napoli: Moretti La Rossa

Japan - Hot Sake (Himezen or Hana Awaka)

Morocco - Sultan

France - Grand Marnier & Grey Goose Orange Slush

United Kingdom - Bumblebee (Boddington & Guinness)

Canada - La Fin Du Monde

Is the Sultan at Morocco the one that tastes very pineapply? If so, it was AWESOME, especially in the heat and I will be getting another one or three on my upcoming trip.

The Sultan is pineapple, coconut and almond. Kinda like a smooth Pina Colada so I'm not sure if it's a straight pineapple flavor but it's pretty delicious. I also recommend the Tipsy Ducks in Love at China Tea Stand if it's on the menu (seasonal). And the Welsh Dragon at Rose and Crown in United Kingdom if beer isn't your taste.

This is exactly what I was thinking of but I couldn't remember anything else that was in it but pineapple. I love this drink, thanks! I will have to try those other two as well. Thanks!
