Hi all. Heading to WDW next week. Looking for some GOOD different beers from around the world. Where would I find some of them?

Thanks;

Not a great selection in the world IMO.

The selection during the F&W festival was not bad, but most of those will not be available now. There was also nothing outside the big names most of us are already very familiar with.

Germany, England and Norway have nice beers, but I do not expect there is anything you have not tried before. England has the largest selection.

The beers over on the boardwalk at Big River Grille and Brewing Works are not bad and I heard you can do a tour of the brewing part of the place. If you have a local brewpub I doubt this will be anything you have not had before.

Maybe someone can recommend a place off site that has a large selection of beers.

This is an area I was suprised to see that WS lacks. There are a few 'different" selections but for the most part it is limited and each country may only have 1 or 2 choices. Many of the beers available are familiar and you could get much cheaper at the local BW3.

Sad But True. I would recommend England, Germany, Norway as you best options for different types of brews but there is really not that great of a selection.

I have to agree with the other posts. My husband and I did this very same thing this summer. We tried the obvious Dos Equus in Mexico and Le Batts in Germany, Sapporo in Japan and Tsing Tao in China. What this tour did do for us was make us want to try different beers in our own hometown. We've tried Italian, Vietnamese, and Thai. Have fun with your tour!

I would also suggest the Tequila Bar in Mexico. They have several different beers including Tecate. It was a nice selection of Mexican beers.

DH recommends Tsing Tao in China and Kirin Ichiban in Japan
THere is a stand in Canada that sells Moosehead on tap, which is not available outside of Canada. It was great and I paired it with a box of fresh popcorn - delightful
Have a Great Trip

First, thanks for the input. Some of these I've tried before and liked (Tsing Tao & Tecate). Dos Equuis and Moosehead bottled is OK. The Japanese brews look interesting. I may just play it by ear!:earsboy:

Check out the bar in Africa near Tusker House at Animal Kingdom. Last time I was there they had quite a few brews that I had never seen before.

I've heard that the Safari brew is actually really good located at the AK..

Will probably try it this next time around!

Hands down best beers are at LeCelier. They are Unibroue (Trois Pistole or La Fin Du Monde or Maudite - can't remember which). They are also available at Brown Derby. Used to be at the stand in Canada but the line would get very long because they are a very slow pour.
